Clover walked with Jera toward the door that would take them inside and away from those that might pose a threat. The outdoors was no place to be at night and he would rather they find a nice, safe place to hang out before it started to get dark else they might end up bothered by the bullies of the asylum... of which there were plenty, "Do you want to go to my room for a bit? Until you need to be back with your guardian? Or we can go to where he is and play quietly in your room." He didn't mind either way, so long as the two of them could find something fun to do then Clover would be happy, especially if that fun was hand somewhere the smaller boy would be safe. It was rather strange to have such a young person wandering the asylum but from the sounds of it it wasn't exactly a choice on the part of the Jirachi boy.

"Ahh..." Clover paused midstep, head cocking to one side, then he pointed up toward the rafters, "Up." He said, nudging the floating boy in that direction before he started to climb up the wall, possessing the useful skill that allowed him to get up into the darkened areas. It seemed that the two of them made it up just in time before a couple of staff members came walking by, something that made the Sceptile sigh in relief, "Phew." He said, lifting a hand to wipe it against his forehead before looking at Jera and gave him a smile.

"It's something to remember, they rarely, if ever, bother to look up. It never seems to occur to them to do so." They always looked forward, watched their backs, and even looked from side to side, but he'd never really seen them look up. It were as though such a thing just never clicked, something that the Sceptile took advantage of from time to time. While he didn't really fear most of the staff, he healed from their experiments with a bit of sun after all, there were still a few of them he wanted to avoid just due to their attitudes. In this case though he just wanted to keep Jera safe by avoiding the staff that might very well lead Clover off for some experiment or another leaving the wishmaker all on his own. Something that the plant type didn't want to allow.

Clover watched quietly as those that they were avoiding went on under them, talking to quietly for the pair to really make out what it was that the pair might be plotting, before he turned to give Jera a nod, "Should be alright if we just go in the direction opposite of them." He murmured as he made his way back to ground level with the little Jirachi, giving a little sighing sound as he did so. He didn't want to risk the little one getting caught, it just seemed... odd to him, that their would be a child in this place but it also brought out the protective side in the Sceptile. The boy was so sweet and innocent, it just made him want to do whatever he had to do to keep him safe.

"We will go this way." He said, walking toward the direction that his room was in. It was a nice room, one that had a window and everything, unlike Teival who had sought out a room with no windows since he hated the light. It was what set the that wanted to keep Jera safe apart, well that and their attitudes. Clover was far nicer while Teival was just... himself, a prickly, bossy jerk that gave orders without blinking. The direction they were going in remained quite quiet, telling the pair that it was safe to go there as well as safe to play there. Nothing to worry about other then those that might join them later. Once they got to his room he paused in front of it, looked back and forth, then pushed his door open. The room was filled with the afternoon sun which had Clover's tail swishing behind him, "Nice and warm in here." He chirped happily.

His room was neat enough, likely since it wasn't a place he used often other then to sleep here when he woke up from his outdoor naps and made his way here. He seemed to have an extra couple of blankets and a pillow on his bed, likely from those that had worked on him. He was well cared for when it came to the few needs he had since they wanted to keep him safe and sound for the next experiment that they were plotting. Not that Clover seemed to care, such things rolled off his back like water off a duck, "Come on in, you can look around if you like." He invited Jera, stepping out of the way, smothering a little yawn as he allowed the Jirachi inside.
