Alright...how about two iconic giants. No one can deny the impact left by these two on the gaming world...and I can't wait to see the cross-camp hate. xd Don't disappoint me, fans of these games! Which is better, in terms of story, gameplay, atmosphere, variety, and cultural impact...the Half-Life series...or the Halo series?

I go with Halo since I'm a fan girl, not the bad kind. XD
Don't get me wrong, the Half-life series is good, but Halo just takes the top place in my mind.

Half-life, for sure! I've never understood why people think Halo is so great. =/ I played through the first one and I've played part of the second one, but I just couldn't get into it.

The addiction starts at two and gets reinforced by the time you're done with three, the online only cements it's place in your heart. Half-life is meh in comparison.

Mainly because we've been playing it from the beginning and there's this connection we have with it. You should play through the rest of Halo 2. =3

Even though Halo has been named as the best shooter by society I still don't think that is true. Its a okay game for me so I had to go with Valve cause they got some good games that I like like the L4D series.
