Promethues i have the best team and i am the best. bring it on. no one has beat me in any tornament. if you lose i will take your position. i have a copy of pokemon black Sorry, it doesn't work that way, sir. There is a gym leader tournament currently underway to choose next seasons gym leaders, if you have a Mono-type team and feel like your up to it, register for the tournament and best of luck.

Here is a link to the thread for your convenience. If you happen to join, best of luck friend. razz

Lol, so by your rules, you just take our spots after a win? Where the hell did you find those tournament standards? XD And btw, no matter how good you are, you will have your losses. No one is unbeatable, so you acting as such just makes you look conceited and dumb. Unless you hack your stats above max (which is illegal here, along with hacking in general), in which you will get caught in doing so. Many many players here run damage calcs, and have easy access to it, so even if you take a hit you normally wouldn't extremely well, proper damage calcs will get you caught for hacking. (Though, the reason I mention hacking is not to accuse you of it, but that is the only way to be unbeatable assuming your opponents are not) Besides, I wouldn't even think some random new punk is all that good. I've seen many like you, most all of them fall short to even being anywhere near good. Besides, anyone who has a grasp for the competitive aspect of the game knows about hax. You can lose any game if your opponent gets the right hax at the right times, and besides every pokemon in the game has muliple checks and/or counters. In other words, you won't be anywhere near undefeated. Join if you want, but know this and don't expect to get through with all wins. And I'd love to battle you and see how much of that smack talk you can actually back up, so feel free to join, assuming Cormini doesn't mind, as he's the host. But it is indeed mono-type battling, so your whole team must share one type in common, as Kyrenx stated. Be sure to read the rules too.

No need to jump to conclusions friend. Lets try to keep this civil since we hardly know anything about this battler. No need creating strife when there hardly is a need for it.
If he joins, (which I would greatly welcome) that would be great since it will just breed more competition. If not, no love loss since the world moves on.

I can't take him seriously. No matter, he probably isn't active, seeing as he hasn't replied, or joined.

Bly-Ume Hm.. I'm actually debating if I want to sign up for this tournament or now(If it's still going on). Ive always wanted to be apart of the crew as a top gym leader and all, but... I like too many pokemon to have a mono-type. sweatdrop Damn... Such a hard decision. emo Well, once the Gyms are established, you can challenge them, which is just as fun if not more in my opinion. I just like competing against all these guys (except for the part where Cormini didn't play....). Besides, if you can't stick to one type, it's gonna be hard, and actually, you're gonna want more than 6 pokemon as a gym leader, so even harder than you may think. I have 12 Flying Pokes I use in battles, not that I'm a Gym Leader quite yet. ninja But anyway, a lot of the competition has slowed down, so at this point it may be hard to even find battles. So, if you want you could just stick around and challenge the gyms once it's over. But if that's not your taste, go ahead and join, and keep in mind, if you do, you might as well start looking for battles rather than waiting for Cormini to accept you. That might take a bit, and would take away from the time you have to get in battles. And if you do, I'd recommend sending PM's to the people who have gotten in battles. And the ones that have a few to none if you really want. Best of luck, friend. (I feel like Cormini. XD) Hey, gimme that rematch, punk. >:U But Mono-style, so my Flying vs your Poison. And no, you can't switch types. (Besides, we're neutral to each other as is.)

Likes are only a regular forum option, which seems dumb, especially for people like me that don't post in forums, just guilds. And I can see you aren't here much, as that was an old post. Though your name is familiar enough for me to recognize you from here, so not foreign to the community. But know that everyone is welcomed here, (except hackers, they aren't too welcome), and the only reason anyone would really act rudely is if you're being cocky or annoying or something. Outside of that, most everyone if friendly enough. Basically, being a noob won't hurt you. But being a noob and also cocky might, lol. Still, you don't seem too shabby, and I keep my skills sharpened by hanging around here, so why not hang around when you get some time. And it can be fun competing in tourneys. Not like it's a chore and you have to or something. XD I don't know why I said all this.... You probably already know all that, but whatever. See ya around.~

I wasn't saying you hack, just that hackers in general aren't all too welcome here. Just to clear that up, it wasn't directed toward you. I only battled him once as well, it was an easy win for him, but I'm better now, so we'll see how future matches go. I did once manage a win on Kyren with our flying teams, but I was a bit lucky, and I ended up stalling a certain Dragon Dancer. Good day for Charm/Toxic stalling, huh? XD Though, in his defense, he was using some gimmicky pokemon to playtest them, like a Tropius I believe. I'm just saying I'm not too bad. Not like I can beat him so incredibly easily or something. XD Actually, if you want, I'll give you a regular Standard Battle in gen 5. I have a good Standard Team on there, and I planned it pretty carefully. A lot of the pokes are trained just enough to outspeed certain Pokemon by a couple Stat Points. I usually find battles on Serebii Wifi Chat, but I'll have you know, almost everyone on there Savs there pokes. So their IV's are all maxed, which is a huge pain. I can manage to win against a lot of them, but all the people I've battled on there Sav. I've yet to meet one that doesn't.. But hey, if you want that match, PM me. I'll be up for a battle most anytime I'm online, well, not all the time, but a good portion. And I'm on here a lot too, so feel free. Actually, anyone can PM me for a Standard Battle if they want. I'm pretty bored now that everyone went back to school. I'm still waiting for my paperwork to get back so I can take my GED and head off to college, haha. Life's pretty dull for me right now.

Man, I thinking about re-naming this thread to basic guild banter since the subject of this thread has veered off into a huge tangent.
Before I say anymore, I would first like to apologize for my long absence. Do to both the combination of moving to a new apartment, and unforeseen financial issues, I had to drop my internet connection for the past couple of months.
Now that I am back, I have noticed quite a drop in our activity here. I am curious to know who all still pops in here now and then? Also, if the crew and I were to try push for more activity by presenting tournaments and the like, would anyone care?

Maybe a new topic is in order? A new topic having users that are still active post what they'd like to see in this guild, and an announcement to make everyone aware of it? My semester's been busy as hell, and difficult as well. Though I've had time to play HvZ and kill many a human... Gonna try to check in here more often.
