Definitely Blazblue is a good option for the 3DS, the gameplay it's good, and it has two new modes that i'm impressed, i mean the Legion 1.5 and the Abyss.
DoA it's a great game, it's different and the 3D effect it's very acceptable, the conectivity is better than in the local game of Blazblue, and it has the online game and all these "prizes" in the spotpass, it can use the streetpass too.
It's hard to choose any of these games, they are very different so i preffer play both, but definitely Blazblue would be better with an online game, or use of the Spot/streetpass system.

why choose? get both if you can price match these games you can get both for under 50 actually i think you can price match this at best buy with toysrus buy one game get one 40 percent off getting both would be 63.99 if you got coupons even better actually if oyu can find the 10% coupon if they match it so you can maybe get away for paying only 50 XD
