APPLYING FOR GROWTHadded point count on 20 Oct 2012! with great power comes great responsibility
Once you have fulfilled the requirements for advancement, fill out a form here and staff will get to it as soon as possible.
If staff believe you're good to grow, you'll be given one last special growth quest to complete so that your character can transition OOCly into his/her sidekick stage. Growth quests will be posted in your journal. Respond to it as a journal entry.
OPTIONAL: If you have ideas you want to do for a growth quest, perhaps to further your character's plot with a solo, rp with an npc/staff, etc, please add it on to your form or PM mori! You know your character best after all o vob
All points gathered after completion of the growth quest will count towards growth for the NEXT stage. You may start RPing as a sidekick once your growth quest is completed. Art may or may not take a while, but if there is still nothing after 3 weeks to a month, you are free to hassle mori and see what's going on.
Also note that if you have more points than necessary to grow to the next stage, the extra points will NOT carry over. (We will keep a record though, just in case... for future uses......)
If you're okay with a different artist doing the art, it doesn't necessarily mean that you WILL get a different artist, neither can you choose which artist. If your baby was a custom or semi, the same artist will be doing the art for you

Grandfather Requirements - requirements for kids that were acquired before the new i/t and revamp
ROOKIE - SIDEKICK (10 pts) Journal set up (1 pt) At least one journal entry detailing how and why you came to SA (1 pt) The rest may comprise of points from RPing, journal entries, classes, etc. There will be one additional growth quest that will be assigned to you upon applying for growth so that your character can transition OOCly.
SIDEKICK - HERO (35 pts) Made up of RPs, journal entries, etc There will be one additional growth quest that will be assigned to you upon applying for growth so that your character can transition OOCly.
SIDEKICK - ??? (40 pts) In addition to accumulating points, you need to show in your RPs how you've become not-so-hero-like anymore Possible alternative paths Anti-Hero (Extreme force and questionable morals) Fallen Hero (Disgraced or conflicting motives) Hero Agent (Behind-the-scenes techie or sleuth) Villain (Whole different can of worms...)
HERO - SUPERHERO (extremely many points)
Solos = 1 point RPs = 2 points Journals should detail your character's life and progress as they work their way up in SA, chronologically if possible. Staff will be going through your journals to track your progress when you apply for growth, so make sure they're easy to read and all that.
GROWTH REQUIREMENTS: New Word / Post count Requirements:: Hey guys! This one has been a long time coming and after much debate these are the new changes for any rp starting now! Any rp / solo / prp before the date of this announcement is exempt obviously!
Orp; For rp points to count you will need to have at least 5 posts in the ORP for it to count, your total word count for the WHOLE RP should be a minimum of 800 words. Prp; For rp points to count you will need to have at least 7 posts per person for it to count, your total word count for the WHOLE RP should be a minimum of 1000 words. Journal Solos: For the points to count you will need to have at least 800 words for it to count.
Becoming a Hero?! Due to a new system being built up we need to make a few changes to ones advancement into heroism!
Prior to Hero exam, (whats this? Don't worry we'll tell you in just a second!), students need to get a letter or recommendation from a MENTOR OR OTHER HERO in order to qualify for the exam.
You can reach the hero status whenever you complete your requirements HOWEVER in order to teach must be 18 years old
New R-r-requirements!? In the relaunch we will be having TONS of new things for the students to do, so it only makes sense right? That being said, anyone who has a character before this announcement is obviously exempt, HOWEVER you can choose to follow the new rules, BUT once you have acknowledged, (please do pm the mule if you are choosing to abide by these), this you cannot go back and will have to follow these new rules.

You must have taken and completed eight classes, (pass or fail. ) A solo regarding the changes your character is experiencing, this includes but is not limited to if they want to take the anti-hero path ect. Mentoring under an NPC or Hero lvl character! (You do NOT have to be this persons actual sidekick in the future hence NPC usage, but you need to gain the experience. This mentorship should consist of at least five roleplays together and some sort of mini arch for your character from beginning middle to end! ) You must have at least four battles. NPC Battle! ( Hero or ...other. To test your skills.) The rest may consist of points from RPing, battles or solos. Growth Exam, since this is a school you are required to put your acquired skills to the test before being able to move up in ranks!
Possible alternative paths are; Anti-Hero (Extreme force and questionable morals) Fallen Hero (Disgraced or conflicting motives) Villain (Whole different can of worms...)

I don't mind changing artists. o < o Any changes in appearance? Hrmn. The age thing was sorted out a bit, right? Could we assume he's a little older now? o < o I... dunno. This probably needs some discussion rather then me having a monologue of ideas.
Power/Ability Upgrades - Smoke Manipulation [Original] Control over polluted smoke. Can be inhaled for later use. Cannot control corrosive smog. Can manipulate thickness of smoke in use. Release through mouth and finger tips. Can use a 'Smoke Visor' and a puff of smoke to scout nearby areas; 5 meter and 10 min. limit. Can form objects with smoke[nothing too large], and although are solid, cannot be sharp. Requires great concentration and constant physical touch. If objects are destroyed, there is a mental toll.
[Upgrade] Can combine use of Smoke Visor and object formation to lockpick simple doors. A .5x increase on Scouter Puff limit. Small-mass objects made does not require constant physical touch and can be thrown for some effect at a distance. Can make slightly larger items that still require physical touch.

I would like to stick with Mori, for constancy's sake (I love everyone's style though OnO .) Any changes in appearance? I love the lines on the front of Dani's costume, so something that incorporates that would be cool OuO . Maybe something tron/circuit-board-esque with lines and loops and circles and such xxxxxxxx. Although, maybe not XD ! I have horrible visual imagination. You did a fantastic job with her the first time, so I am perfectly willing to leave this up to you ^___^ . I would definitely like for her to have a mask this level though; I was thinking something without any eyes. Maybe with some markings on it to watch the costume. Um... um... um... yeah OuO . Hair wise... what ever XD ? Maybe a bit longer? Here we go: lolbadsketchisbadmasklooksbetterhere. Dark blue base, yellow markings, visor type mask, circuit board / tron / tribal type markings. Ultimate design choices are up to you d(o u o)b . Have fun!
POSTED >D . Power/ability upgrades? More control over her powers, basically. She can 'hold in' her amplification aura without too much trouble, she can even touch people without having to worry about them going supernova (although extreme emotion still causes problems and she still avoids physical contact unless and will only engage in casual contact when she knows exactly what kind of powers someone has). On the redirection front, she is starting to be able to 'hold on' to power, but only for a limited amount of time, and the longer she does it the less control she has.

Avalbane would like a new costume. Well, an actual costume really. Complete with cute girly mask. I would like for her hair to also be down instead of in the ponytail and flipped over to one side. This will still show off one side of her shaved head. I have a basic concept for the clothing but artistic license is completely fine. Have fun with it. Idea

Yes u w u Power/ability upgrades? Side Effect of her touch getting a boost- So she is able to see full memories of people not just snippets, though with added headaches that follow. Ghost arms getting a boost- They can become solid but only for a few minutes and can only lift what Violet herself is physically capable of lifting. They also are able to stretch further, like about 30ft. Any changes in appearance? =w = heres something I doodled when thinking about a growth for her. Also if possible can pleases has colors toned down since shes going to be forming a team with black jack so blacks blues ect ect to kind of theme would be loved. I love Vi's hair being crazy just cause, so longer maybe? Hm hm hm. Oh reading up I see that you can age a rookie going to sidekick a few years so I would like to take her from her current age to about 17 so..some boobies would have grown in lol- to which I'd be all for doing some solos of over the years or whatever.

She's gonna be 16 and testing out sexyness and that kind of stuff so whatever you feel is awesome. Maybe give her more of the black and red(magenta?) from her eyes for colors.
