I use Galvantula. Always a reliable pokemon that can hit hard and is pretty good with the speed. Electroweb was a good Spec Atk move that has a good chance of Paralyzing the opponent.
I've never even seen Elektross, so I have no idea how he would work.

So it seems I'll be going with Galvantula mainly because I successfully bred a good one first. I'm making a Trick Room theme, so Eel might have been the better choice due to being slow, but I don't know if Trick Room teams are supposed to form EVERYONE around it, or have something(s) that can operate outside of it.
Looks like I'll be testing the latter.

You never want a gimmicky team that's crippled without its gimmick. I think you made the right choice.

Hashire Kazemeijin So it seems I'll be going with Galvantula mainly because I successfully bred a good one first. Looks like I'll be testing the latter. I actually used a pretty good Trick Room Team. I used to use it on my HG, then I forgot about it for a while, and in BW, I've been using it again. Open With a +Spd Ala, and a +Def Shuckle. Ala goes first, uses Trick Room. Two other Pokemon attack Shuckle goes last, uses Power Trick. Now, Shuckle has intense Speed/Attack Uses Earthquake Annihilates stuff. Ala too, though. Alternatively, I also have Rock Slide, in the case of a Bird Pokemon on the opposing. (Also Saves Alakazam) BW added the feature of that balloon item, making Earthquake not hit Alakazam, unless one of the other Pokemon hits him, too. This tended to actually work really well. My other 4 were Pokemon that would have also benefitted from Trick Room, for the most part. Slowking, Spiritomb, slow Pokemon. I'm training a Crobat to use, too. Not nessecarily for that team Since this is a teambuilding thread, and maybe someone besides Hash could benefit from it. whee I've never used a Crobat. What should I do for it's moveset? It's -Atk +Spd, bad nature, I know, but it's a Nuzlocke. I'm leaning with: Confuse Ray, Toxic, Fly, and Bite If I finish and switch it to BW, I'm gonna get rid of Fly, and Learn Acrobatics, And get rid of Bite and learn Poison Fang.

I have two Mon's that can set up TR btw, as insurance. Jellicent and Reuniclus are both spongy enough to set it up a few times and not die, and Reu in particular likes going first.
@Zach: I'd probably use Roost, Brave Bird, Cross Poison, and U-Turn. Drop Roost for some other attack, and Crobat can be useful with a Choice Band due to its Speed.
Yu can make it a Sp.Attacker since it has a -Atk nature as well. It's Sp.Atk sucks naturally, but it can use Nasty Plot to patch that a bit.
Roost, Nasty Plot, Sludge Bomb, and Air Slash. Heat Wave can be used too at the cost of one of the attacks or the heal.

ANd it's Atk and Satk are actually exactly equal, since I don't really EV train. And I can't get Brave Bird, since it's a Breeding move, and I hatehaetaheatahetahat happy evlolving Pokemon. Maybe Toxic, Venoshock, and like.. X-Scissor and Shadow Ball. Maybe Swap one of the last two for Air Slash. Probably X-Scissor. Toxishock is pretty great. Or have a second mon set up the Poison, and just have Crobat with a barrage of attacks. Anyway Meganium, Crobat, Arcanine, Ariados, Kingler = Current Team Kicking a** and taking names. Except Clair. I"m scared.

Timid is actually a great nature for a Crobat, since it lives by its speed, but something to remember about him is that while he's one of the top 10 fastest non-legendary Pokemon, he's a pretty crappy sweeper without Nasty Plot and the only time he should be loaded up with attacking moves is when you have absolutely no one else who can play janitor. That said, it's only my personal preference; he does have an interesting STAB combination and a diverse movepool, so it's not ridiculous to want to make him an attacker either.
Personally, I really like the Stallbreaker set on Smogon: ~ Taunt ~ Roost ~ Super Fang ~ Brave Bird / U-turn
I'd switch the last one for Pursuit if I were competing, but you're just doing a Nuzlocke, so while I don't recommend BB or U-Turn 'cause you're Timid, I definitely don't think you'd get much use out of Pursuit either. Maybe Confuse Ray or Toxic? Idk.
@Hash: Being able to ensure you'll get TR up is great, but I was thinking more that if you ran into another TR team, you might even want to turn it off to deny them the advantage, or something like that.

True enough, although it's interesting to note that Reu is so slow, that the only thing that should ever outspeed it in TR is a Ferrothorn (which I also have).
Unless someone comes up with an uber gamebreaking Munchlax.
The other option would be to drop TR set up on Reu and use the Calm Mind Staller instead.
Calm Mind | Recover | Psychic/Psyshock | Focus Blast
Speaking of Psyshock, I'm wondering if I should use it myself over Psychic. Not too sure.

@ Wylr and Hash- How do you ever manage to get TR to strike first? You both mentioned being able to pull it off early, but I thought: Bulbapedia Trick Room itself is a decreased priority move, and will always go last in a turn. Or am I just reading posts wrong? o .o?

Or am I just reading posts wrong? o .o? It's not supposed to go first, otherwise that would eat one of the 5 turns that it lasts.
I mentioned that my set up 'Mons could set it up multiple times because they're both spongy on the defenses and can take some hits.
The only time having Trick Room used first would have been useful is in Double Battles.

I'm just gonna post here. I made a new team, and it's kinda rocking up the Pokemon Battle Emulator It's my one of my Character's teams. She's a girl from Fuchsia city. Really pretty, has pretty pokemon, etc
Wigglytuff@Sitrus Berry (HP/Def)(Calm) -Attract, Thunder Wave, Double Team, Seismic Toss
Dewgong@Leftovers (Def/SDef) (Relaxed) -Fake Out, Aqua Ring, Hail, Icicle Spear
Lapras@Cheri Berry (SDef/Spd) (Hardy) -Attract, Double Team, Rest, Ice Beam
Vileplume@Toxic Orb (SAtk/ADef) (Mild) -Sludge Bomb, Teeter Dance, Moonlight, Attract
Starmie@Wide Lens (Satk/Spd) (Modest) -Thunder, Blizzard, Hydro Pump, Psychic
Ninetales@Wise Glasses (SDef/Spd) (Timid) Confuse Ray, Hypnosis, Hex, Heat Wave
They're all girls. And the theme is pretty much "Attraction" even though 3/6 don't have it.
