My favorite god is Quetzalcoatl from aztec mythology. Well, he's most known for being Aztec but was worshipped as early as The first century AD and has more names in Mayan. The feathered serpent was realated the Aztec gods of Venus, the winds, crafts and knowledge, merchants and arts, and dawn. Quetzalcoatl was the god the Aztecs thought Cortes was because of the myth that Quetzalcoatl would come from the sea and save the empire. We all know the aftermath of that.
My favorite goddess is Athena. She has wits and can fight. A strategist who is also beautiful.

My favorite one is Hecate. I'm not really sure why exactly but I just really like her. Might be because she's the Goddess of Magic but not really sure myself. I can never understand myself sometimes.

I think, out of everything I've studied, I like Aphrodite the best, from Greek mythology. I love all the stories I have read about her, from her birth to the golden apple. Her vanity is well-known, along with her lust for Ares. Poor girl is stuck with hard-working Hephaestus while still longing for her freedom.
I know it's cheesy, but everyone needs something that they're a little embarrassed to admit, right?

Gaia or Gaea, the mother earth and mother of pretty much all the ancient gods in Greek mythos. Mostly because she was such a maternal figure even when her hubby was running around eating their kids. Though I like her for being a figure of quiet strength considering that she never lashed out at the other gods who later waged some pretty epic and frivolous changes on her surface in their constant bickering.
Sure she could have stepped in as a mother/grandmother/great grandmother but she let many of them work it out on their own.
Second up would likely be the Muses. I say that as a collective entity considering they were deemed as the core inspiration for so much art, literature and wonders that came about in the ages throughout history. To think of beings with the power of inspiration and serendipity? Wow, kind of blows your mind.
