Hey guys, this is the team I'm aspiring for in Pokemon White. Hope you like it!

Metagross (Focus Sash)
Clear Body
Adamant
- Stealth Rock
- Zen Headbutt
- Meteor Mash
- Explosion

4 HP/ 252 Att/ 126 Def/ 126 SpD

Metagross is the set-up lead. Stealth Rocks and I'm good to go. He's also good for countering leads other leads. For example, Infernape usually gets OHKOed by Zen Headbutt if not holding a Focus Sash. But if the opposition is too strong, just go for the boom and explode.

Politoed (Splash Plate)
Drizzle
Modest
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Toxic
- Psychic

4 HP/ 252 SpA/ 252 SpD

Well, it's a Drizzle team, so Politoed. Politoed gets 3 boosts on Surf, from Heavy Rain, STAB, and Wave Plate. Ice Beam hits Grass-,Ground-, Flying-, and Dragon-types like a boss and it can even dish out a freeze. Toxic is for taking down walls and things Politoed can't touch. Psychic is just a nice Special move to have as it can lower Special Defense.

Raikou (Petaya Berry)
Pressure
Rash
- Aura Sphere
- Weather Ball
- Thunder
- Calm Mind

252 SpA/ 4 Def/ 252 Spe

Raikou is the special sweeper of the team. This is a pretty mean moveset, but watch out for faster Ground-types. Aura Sphere can cover Rock- and Steel-types that get Earthquake, and it hits Snorlax, Blissey, and Ferrothorn pretty nicely. It also helps that it never misses. Weather Ball goes from 50 power to 100 power in the Rain, and turns into a Water-type move, perfect coverage from Ground-types that are slower than you. Thunder is STAB, 120 power, and never misses. This takes down annoying Flying-types like Skarmory with no trouble and bulky Water-types, also with a chance of paralysis. Goes down fairly fast though. Calm Mind is self-explanatory.

Swampert (Leftovers)
Torrent
Adamant
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Brick Break

4 HP/ 252 Att/ 252 Spe

The physical attacker. Not for sweeps, just get in, kick a**, and go out. Waterfall gets 2 boosts, STAB and Rain. Earthquake is just STAB, but pretty powerful. Ice Punch covers Grass-types and hits Dragons very hard. Brick Break is for cleaning up other popular Pokemon that are weak to Fighting.

Zoroark (Wise Glasses)
Illusion
Modest
- Nasty Plot
- Night Daze
- Extrasensory
- U-Turn

4 Att/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe

Zoroark is a fun little Pokemon, but also a monster. He hits hard, but it doesn't last long. Not much to say, he racks up very high Sp. Attack after just two Nasty Plots, and then it's sweep time. U-Turn is to get the heck out when he needs to.

Toxicroak (Black Sludge)
Dry Skin
Adamant
- Swords Dance
- Drain Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Poison Jab

Toxicroak? A staller? Well, sorta. See, Toxicroak is for one, is a good partner for Zoroark. But that's just a side note. Dry Skin allows Toxicroak to recover every turn from Rain, and since it's holding Black Sludge, it has a type-exclusive "Leftovers" without breaking Item Clause. Drain Punch heals even more, plus gets STAB. Poison Jab is powerful, and gets STAB. Sucker Punch is to hit faster Psychics.

That's all I got, comment and rate. Constructive criticism is appreciated. 3nodding

I haven't used rain too much personally but it looks pretty solid. Hope it doesn't sound to mean

Get ride of explosion on metagross not worth it in 5th gen since it doesn't half the defences and replace for a coverage move or bullet punch for sashes. THo depending on what you are battling politoad would be a generally better lead to set up rain and if they have stuff that hates stealth rocks make it a priority to send in metagross also if you send it in after rain is set up it makes its fire weakness neutral.

Politoad needs a better item the plates give you a pitifully boost if i remember right. I would recommend swapping toxic for a coverage move like focus blast or hp elec (or even swapping psychic for hp elec). Choice scarf would be best but specs if you want power. Also hydro pump is good for the extra power and needed for some two hit kills tho if you want the accuracy you can stick with surf. If you want more versatility you could go for the life orb I wouldn't recommend it.

Your Raikou i am pretty sure is illegal in two ways. Aura Sphere and Weather ball are event moves and the event was shiny only and the nature was rash if I am correct (which is not to bad). Also Pinch berries haven't been released yet (not one hundred percent sure). Generally the HP ice is best for coverage tho wether ball does actually have good coverage with better power.

Swampert doesn't look to bad haven't seen it as a sweeper before. When feraligatr gets its dream world ability it will be better but swampert will have nice surprise value. Now that i think about it hp ice would be nice on raikou is it gets super effective on all the grass types that swampert hates.Tho they aren't very common.

With Zoroark give it a life orb. Scrap u-turn with modest it won't be doing enougth to make it worth it and doesn't add to much to coverage. get rid of extrasensory (loses coverage for fighting tho most carry mach punch and would kill you with that) add hp ice and focus blast. Go for timid so Jolly base 100 pokemon won't kill you.

The toxicroak looks good the standard set tho I would change Posion jab for ice punch or sub as poison jab is nice being stab but it doesn't have nice coverage while ice punch hits dragon, flying, grass, ground while sub gives you nice little extra defence and is recovered back almost fully by black sludge and dry skin.

It is a bit long :/ hope it helps smile

The Metagross was something I originally had to set up Rocks, Light Screen and Reflect, and then just Explode. Coverage moves sound nice though. Politoed, I hardly gave time for the moveset, I just really hate Focus Blast for that damn accuracy. HP Electric doesn't give coverage for Politoed though. I think you got that mixed up with covering Politoed. I'm thinking HP Ground would be better. Raikou, I meant to say Rash, I totally forgot, I just thought Modest, cuz no need for Attack. I don't hack. XD Swampert gets nice coverage with Ice Punch and whatnot. With Zoroark, again, I hate teh Focus Blastz. Maybe Grass Knot would be nice to surprise heavy Ground-types trying to take out "Toxicroak". For my actual Toxicroak, I originally actually did have Stone Edge, but I really wanted a STAB Poison move for power. Really, it's pointless. Ice Punch sounds good though.

Thank you this really did help. This isn't really my team yet, I'm just working on it. These are merely blueprints.

I hate focus blast with its accuracy but does give that super effective on steels. To bad politoad doesn't get grass knot, hp elec provides something to hit bulky waters and gyaradoes which all wall your current set. Again with zoroak focus blast would only be there for something you can't hit neutrally. Any steel type or dark type will wall your current set. I know metagross is only there for rocks but explosions damage in 5th gen has literally been half tho with its attack probably doesn't effect it that much. Oh only just saw this now but I believe going full evs in health instead of into both defences is better.

Glad I can help smile

This might just be my age speaking, but when did Dry Skin restore HP in the rain?

Dry Skin restores HP in the rain and allows you to absorb Water-type moves the way Water Absorb does. However, in the sun, it inflicts damage upon you, and Fire-type moves do more damage. That's why I have no idea why Parasect has Dry Skin.

I was aware of it turning water based attacks into HP, however, I wasn't aware that it restored HP in the rain. I wasn't asking what it did. If you'd look, I asked WHEN it started doing that.
