So, if you guys recall a previous thread I posted, I mentioned three guys that were after me (*flares pimp collar). Well, guys #2 and #3 just didn't work out, so I just set them as friends. Guy #1 is the person who stood me up twice, doesn't return my phone calls/texts/IMs/etc, and when we do talk, it's like he doesn't even want to talk me.
Here's the kicker... A few days ago, we have a chat on Facebook IM. We were just talking, blah blah blah (taking in account that this is after he stood me up the second time). Then he said this to me:
"I care about you, A LOT"
[insert.screeching.brake.noise]
My thoughts: "Whoa, whoa, WHOA, hold up. You're telling me that you still care about me? And not just 'care about me,' but 'care about me A LOT'? If you REALLY cared about me, then you wouldn't have bailed on me. Twice! Oh, and I dunno... Maybe you could have bothered texting, calling, or even sending me a god-damn written letter~ But no, you're wayyyyy too busy on a Saturday with other friends, who you see on a daily basis, to go out with someone you 'care about, A LOT'... Lol. Lol. Lololol. And here I thought you were the kind of decent guy who, and I quote you saying, 'goes with the flow.' Yeah, greeeaaatttt show of character, buddy."
You think I'm giving him a third chance? F$#% no. If he genuinely wants another chance at me, he'd better be crawling through mine fields and amputating his arm off. After that, maybe, just MAYBE, I'll give him a chance. But damn... How likely is that to happen?
