That look of worry faded away as Riyo gripped his hand and added another. In that small gesture alone he felt like his existence in her life was a little more valid. He wasn't just there to help her pass the time. Klyde was so relieved he nearly missed the fact that Alister was on his way out.
"Meet again? I guess I'll keep that in mind." Neko said coolly, watching the elder man disappear into the forest. When the man was a good distance away Neko could feel his tattoos calming and falling back into place, the burning sensation fading away. It had been an interesting visit, Neko wasn't sure where to place it on the scale compared to the day he had met Riyo's father.
"Glad that's over," Neko said lightly, his stance becoming a little more neutral. It was easy to tell now how on edge he had been though his facial expression hadn't shown much of that at all. "I think you made a good decision today. Or at least I don't have to tell you what a shitty decision you made everyday for the rest of your life." Neko was trying to joke but he had really been worried. He didn't want Riyo to end up like Mal.
"I get the feeling your family just doesn't like me." Klyde spoke, though there was a slight grin on his face. He honestly couldn't care less about it. His own family wasn't that thrilled about Riyo, well, all except his sister, Claire seemed to really like Riyo. But it seemed their time together was becoming more and more like Romeo and Juliet. He could only hope their romance didn't come to the same tragic close.

"It'll be all too soon when we do," Blade said with a frown as he watched Alistair take his leave. Once he was gone, he let out a sigh and relaxed. That encounter was strange and he really didn't like the guy, but it seemed to work out in the end. For now at least.
Rubbing the back of his neck, he looked over towards Riyo and Klyde. As stressful as that situation was, he had the feeling the two would rather be alone for the time being. There was something about everything that was said that was bugging him a little at the moment anyway.
"I guess I'll head back to my room now. I'll catch you guys later," he said to them before turning to head back.

Sighing as her grandfather disappeared from sight, Riyo shook her head and let her nerves calm, her hands shaking a little.
"I'd like to think so too..." Riyo said in response to Neko's 'joke' ... Though her eyes stayed on the place where the man was last seen. She had a feeling... That wasn't the end of it. A hissing in the back of her mind told her so.
Turning to Klyde, her eyes narrowed. "At least my family doesn't try to molest you." It was only a half-joke. As much as Riyo liked his little sister, she didn't enjoy visiting... Because rapes-a-lot and his trusty sidekick captain eat-fist might conveniently come home the same day. (I wonder how many nicknames I can come up with for those two).
Though, Riyo's attention didn't stay on Klyde for long. "W-why're you leaving Blade?" Had he been offended by her a*****e family? "I thought we were gonna go somewhere tonight..."

Neko sighed a bit turning back toward the house but the little 'joke' Riyo uttered to Klyde made his brows raise. "His family...tried to molest you?" He questioned looking toward Klyde with a displeased expression.
The smile Klyde had faded rather quickly, especially when Neko started to question. "I won't let anything happen. That's why we don't go over to my house anymore. My brothers aren't exactly.....a fitted with morals or anything close to resembling a conscious." He tried to explain. Though, they were only one of the reasons. Klyde didn't trust anything his father would do or say around Riyo.
When attention was brought to Blade's retreating back, Klyde finally spoke up. He had been a little too distracted to realize he was leaving. "Yeah, I thought we were going to town." Klyde didn't so much mind the thief's presence, though he would have also enjoyed a little alone time with Riyo. But he kept her company and honestly he was growing on the vampire. It was another guy to hang out with since Desmond was with Mitsu quite a bit.

For a moment, Blade just stared at Riyo on the comment about molesting. His gaze shifted to Klyde, not sure what the whole story was there. But then again, he wasn't sure he wanted to know. He also paused when they mentioned going to town for the night.
"I just thought you might want some time together is all," he said with a faint smile. The thief wasn't really sure what it was but he just got that feeling after what had just occurred and all. As he said that, he looked between the other two to see if he was right in that feeling.

"Uh... It's a long story." Riyo mumbled as she glanced at Neko before looking back towards Blade. His answer wasn't very satisfactory. "No, c'mon. I'm not gonna cancel plans just because something weird happened. If I did that, we'd never hang out." True statement. "So lets go do something and take my mind off of it." Though... She'd have to think about it eventually. Have to think about what she passed up... And what she may have gotten herself into.
"Do you care if I go out on the town, Mr. Fiance?" Riyo asked Neko with a smirk, trying to make light of a shitty situation.

"It's true, strange stuff does seem to happen a lot." Though Klyde wasn't going to twist Blade's arm if he didn't want to go. It was his choice after all.
Long story? Neko wasn't sure he really wanted to know. It promised to be complicated. But the turn of conversation made him shake his head, a light chuckle escaping his lips. "Only if you get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich first." He joked.

There was a point there, but Blade was still a little hesitant. After some thought, he decided to just go on ahead with it.
"Alright," he agreed while making his way back towards the others. As he did so, he raised his eyebrow at Neko before slowly shaking his head. The idea of the two felines being betrothed was crazy to him. Then again, the old man didn't really know any of them..
"So where're we headed exactly?"
