Kiniro Oniba Why thankya, Surf~ 8D I think it's safe to say IK and the Waru are aware of one another! I think Ralastor would see them as a pretty big challenge to "test" every now and then, and eventually work up to. So he wouldn't be above trespassing on their lands, just to push their buttons and see how tough they are. And yes, he remembers Istas - and not fondly! As for familiars, I think Ralastor would be more likely to accept a predator familiar than a deer (just because they're both weaklings and dinner and nothing else, in his mind) - but as long as something can prove it's both strong and willing to submit to him, Ralastor will pretty much take anyone at this point. He'll be able to afford to be pickier once he's got better numbers. Any time you wanted to set up inter-pack drama, I'd be so completely up for it! 8D
I say we come up with some hunting squabbles. Perhaps Ral is really close to Ik turf hunting with his pack and they happen to be out and kinda have a mini duke it out session! we can do it Random Number style too Like I have set up in Ik for fairness and total random ness XD

Reasons for joining: he needs someone to knock him around to put him in his place and give him direction

Strengths: Fighting, Hunting
Weaknesses: has 0 tolerance or patience of any kind, very easy to rile into fighting
Cool ideas you had for plots: O: i could see Ralastor knocking Kumonryu about a bit and putting him in is place before seeing Kumonryu has potential if he has a strong alpha/father type to direct him.
pretty much i still have some quirks to work out with his personality and need to type up his history. but i think he would be awesome for this pack 8D

Personality: (Meowmeow fail I typed up when I went on a speed update of my journal lololol. Lemme know if you want a better one.) Arcadius is, in short, a cold, judgmental brute hidden behind a polite smile. He’s quick to bare his fangs and even quicker to put them to use, but he won’t recklessly show his blood-thirst. Experience has taught him that those who do are often sought out to be killed, and he’s not foolish enough to believe he can realistically take on all who challenge him and come out alive. As such, he’s often disguised under a façade, but those who seek his company for extended periods of time may find he’s not truly who he makes himself out to be.
Reasons for joining: He likes ze powah. -pets a white kitten- Also, ever since his pack broke down, he's been looking for a new one. B: He's got high expectations, though, which is why he's prevented himself from joining until now, as he likes the potential Warugaruga shows.
Ambitions / Motivations: For now, he simply wants to see what comes of it. If it ends badly, he can always leave, and if he doesn't, he'll probably try to take over Ralastor's spot when he can, because why make your own pack when someone else can do it for you? -shot-
Strengths: He's got no qualms about following orders if he respects the ones he's under (of course, he's got no qualms 'bout backstabbing, either P:), has considerable bulk and the strength that comes with it and is surprisingly quick on his toes, too. Because of the pack he grew up in, he's very calculating and also highly driven for anything he wants, and never leaves work half-done (and the only reason he's not trying for beta is because I like him better on gamma lines). He cares little for anything save himself, and as a result isn't shy about getting his paws dirty.
Weaknesses: As mentioned earlier, he's judgmentalishness (yes that is a word, no it really isn't). He can get pretty prejudiced and first impressions are usually lasting, in his case, which can cause errs in judgment despite his over-analytical ways. Because of his priorities (himself, himself, and himself), his loyalties are often questionable, and there is often an "I" but no "we" in "team" in his vocabulary which makes teamwork with him not only frustrating but failures, too.
Cool ideas you had for plots: Derpderp something with guns and explosions and men with their shirts ripped off.
I mean... :V If you want, if Ark is accepted, for the joining RP, we could have him an' Tasso fight, in which he wins but is impressed with Ralastor's work and agrees to join and Tasso is left with the misery of disappointing daddyface once more?

Faaaaantastic! 8D He'll fit right in. >8D I lovelovelove your suggestion for Tasso!angst creation. That is super exciting and wonderful. It might even work well if Tasso is the one that meets him on the borders, and she decides not to call for help, because she's got something to prove - but of course Ralastor is watching the whole time because his territory is still pretty tiny and he is a creeper who creeps a lot. So it would just make her loss even more painful when she finds out daddy's been judging her performance and has to step in to save her butt. ...but then it might be better in a circumstance where Rala is setting her on him because it's more obvious that he is the puppeteer. Hmmm. Well, I like both, so you can just decide which one you like better, hahaha. Let me know anytime - I can start the scene if you like, too. :3

Yay! 8D I'm glad you do. Maybe the first circumstance would be better? Since for what you want with the second (where it's made evident he's the puppeteer) can be incorporated in other ways (such as him making his presence known to Ark near the beginning but not participating in the fight itself; at the end, he reveals himself and maybe makes a comment on something that happened near the beginning of the fight (ie. mentioning something Ark or Tasso should have done instead) to show that he'd been there the whole time; something can happen to put Tasso in a vulnerable position and Ralastor pops out and tells her to continue and she does which can show how much control he has over her; etc.) or, at the very least, it'll become obvious to 'im after he joins the pack and gets to know Ralastor more?
And yes, please, if you don't mind. ; v; -so lazy with starting RP- I can start whenever, although I can be slow. XD

I've updated the pack list with the new members! The hierarchy of dominance is based on their newness, what they bring to the pack, and how their entrance fights went / were planned on going. Arcadius, for example, will beat Tasso in the fight - and therefore is more dominant than her on the ladder. Kumonryu lost the fight to Ralastor, and therefore he starts out lower in the pack.
The dominance of each pack member is dependant on his or her interactions with the rest of the pack. As the Alpha's children, Tasso, Brutus and Nox automatically got a certain amount of sway - but if, however, one of the new guys goes out of his way to impress Ralastor, or gets one of the adolescents to act submissive towards him, he will go up in rank. The most direct way to do this is a fight - the winner goes up, the loser goes down. Rank in the pack will also be determined by more subtle things, however, like who respects who. Basically, ask yourself "Would X take an order from Y without question?" If the answer is yes, Y is higher on the ladder. I will be watching the pack interactions and updating the ladder accordingly.
For the new guys, please try to finish up your introduction fights so that we can integrate them into the pack. If you've got a blurb written for the pack page, you can just post it here and I'll edit it in.
Very soon I'll be starting a big, PLOT-DRIVEN pack RP. I'll be posting the link here and in the main thread when that starts. Everybody is expected to participate because it is going to be AWESOME and will rock your socks off.

With the arrival of many new pups to members of the Warugaruga recently, for the sake of organization ICly and OOCly, I would very much like people to post:
- If the non-Warugaruga half of the breeding pair has intentions of joining
- Which, if any, of the litter will be joining the Warugaruga
- Any pertinent details regarding Ralastor's awareness of the pups
- Is there a roleplay scene you'd like with Ralastor regarding the pups?
For example:
Ralastor bred with Ember; Ember will be joining the pack; all three of the litter will be joining the pack; pups and mother are doing this willingly, Ralastor is obviously aware that this is happening.
Tasso bred with Riitho; Riitho will not be joining the pack; both pups of the litter will be joining the pack but will also be taken to see their father from time to time; Ralastor was not aware of the breeding, Tasso has yet to approach him (to be RP'd out).
This will allow me to accurately update the pack page and make sure anybody who needs RP with me or the pack to drive any personal plots has access to a scene with the alpha. Please post here even if you have hashed out the basic details with me - I want to be sure I've got everything right before I update the pack page.
Current Warugaruga wolves with unestablished offspring status: Coal, Kumonryu, Arcadius (future)
ALSO if you haven't already submitted a brief blurb about your character's role in the pack, that would be lovely to have for the pack page update~

Raised in a pack where strength was everything, Arcadius is the type of wolf that is well suited for Warugaruga's ambitions. He is motivated, powerful, and manipulative, and he uses all of these traits to help the one life he considers above all: his own. Because he always prioritizes himself, his ability to work as a team is often failing, and his loyalties to the pack are questionable at best. Still, he will do his utmost to aid the pack while the alpha stands strong, for he sees little reason to disrupt a function that is already working.
Offspring:
• Arcadius' partner will not be joining.
• Most, if not all, of the litter should be coming into the pack. (There may be one left with the mother so she won't be completely heartbroken but, regardless, Ark will probably tell her the rest died so that her pack won't look for them.)
• Arcadius won't tell Ralastor about the pups, but he won't hide their existence, either, once they've set foot within the pack borders. (Until that moment, though, he'll be mysteriously absent from the pack for extended durations as he pretends to care for his family. xD) He also probably won't let Ralastor know of his plans with his offspring until they're ready.

Offspring: • Kumonryu's partner Subira will not be joining. • Only the daughter Sanjii i own will be joining • We currently got a rp going were Kumonryu is speaking to Ralastor and presenting his daughter Sanjii 8] • Sanjii's cert, uncertFor Kumonryu: Personality: he is a bit of a pushover and bully but not only that he is pretty reckless when it comes to his fights. because of the fact he is easy to rile up, which leads him to losing more battles than he wins. he rather use brute force than chit chat, but if he does decide to sit and chat he is likely just to mock you if he can get away with it. more often than not, his lack of thinking before taking action seems to get him into more trouble than he bargans for. When i rp Sanjii more i'll write up a personality thing for her

All about them there Offspring -shot-
• Coals 'partner's' from both breedings he has had, will not be joining.
• Donovan plans to escape but, not until he's an adult.
• His recent fling with Eve..he might steal one of the males or both male pups and, leave the female behind. That still needs to be worked out with owners etc.
• Coal needs a roleplay with Ralastor after the fight/ after he joins in which he and the alpha go to get/steal Donovan from Divine Cure. He won't tell Ralastor just yet of his pups with Eve because they are in IK and, are hard to get to..he's taking his time trying to coax the pups out of the packs territory so he can snatch them up. (Again dependent on other people)
• Any future breedings might be in Waru or out and those will also be decided when the time comes. As far as rp I need to finish his joining one and, we can do the pup snatching of Donovan anytime.

Personality: He views himself as being unable to do anything, so why try to fight back when he knows he is just going to lose? Small and quite submissive, he clearly does not want trouble, and is hasty to back down if it looks like trouble is coming. If he gets pushed around or picked on, he obviously dislikes it, but feels there is nothing he can really do to stop it, aside from running to Fuil for help. He does try to do what Fuil wants, and stop being so pathetic, but he just lacks any sort of confidence and that is sort of necessary to stand up for himself.
Reasons for joining: Fuil is joining and he is afraid to get separated? That is pretty much it, Cnámh is a tag-along.
Ambitions / Motivations: He wants to stick with Fuil, and learn how to be a healer. (and maybe make friends with another omega?)
Strengths: Loyal and devoted (to Fuil though), can be a ferocious fighter in the right setting, will probably grow to have a skill in healing (but I want to roleplay that growth out)
Weaknesses: Small, submissive, and timid, he is afraid to fight back, has a tendency to give up, and has a (past, but possibly to continue) reputation as a bully-magnet.
Cool ideas you had for plots: I suppose a lot of them would be with Fuil, who is Zephira’s wolf who is joining the pack as well. But I would love for him to meet and possibly befriend, Dumaka. And if he does learn how to do healing stuff, I expect a pack like this would have a lot of use for someone who could patch them up. And bullying/pushing-around for him, he is the sort to get picked on.

Fuileadán
Following rumors of a pack where strength like his really was the key to earning respect, he left his old pack and sought to find and join the Warugaruga. Having lost the use of an eye on his way, he was soundly thrashed by Ralastor, and dismissed the first time he attempted to join their ranks. Months of practice to learn to overcome his handicap, and a second challenge earned him entry. Fuil is eager to put himself himself and the others of his new pack to the test, and to gain the recognition he feels his ability deserves. He is loyal to the idea of a powerful leader, and follows Ralastor eagerly.
