Well, we hyphenated haha. Mostly because we are both kind of indecisive.

I really would prefer to keep mine, but I think my bf would hyphenate his, but a real concern of ours is that if he does take my last name instead, we both would have the same initials then.

Me and my girlfriend are currently fighting about this actually lol. Not legit fighting, just bickering. She's in college to become a doctor and wants to be known as "Dr. Chapman" but I want her to take my last name. The reason I want her to take my last name is because I'm the last of my family and don't want my families name to die out, yah know? She thought an idea of a hyphened name but I personally want just a straight forward name. Me and her both agree that we should have a name together as we believe it has a sort of connection to it, more meaning than just changing our names. However we're kinda stuck on it lol. I told her we should just flip a coin to decide when we start preparing for our wedding.
