Rei looked at Seth then to where he was pointing. Two kids were eating some candy. "It's called Candy it's a sweet snack would you like some?" she asked smiling at seth. She loved making Seth happy every way that she could.

I walked around the shop for a moment when the owner, a woman in her 40-50s walked out of a back room.
"find anything you like dearie?" she asked.
I'm sure I'll find something. There is more than enough to catch my interest. I replied. There were shelves upon shelves of exotic spices and herbs. I picked out a handful walked to the counter.
I suppose I'll start out with these. They look rather good. I said as I handed over enough coin to cover the purchase.
"ahh, paprika, cayenne pepper, that's a hot one. sorrel, try that on any meat you prepare, mixed with some cinnamon, it tastes delightful. Oh, you haven't got any cinnamon? Here, take this. It's called Saigon Cinnamon, and it's very good, but don't use to much, otherwise it's a bit overpowering. And what else have you got here? Oh! Za'atar! Now, this is one for use on bread, and it's a most unusual blend of dried herbs and sesame seeds, but tastes wonderful. And lastly, Mhm. You've found yourself one of my favorites! Tarragon. This is an herb best used on meat or fish, even eggs. My my, you do seem to want to experiment quite a bit, judging by th range if herbs and spices youve collected here today. I do hope you enjoy them, and remember to stop by and let me know how you like them." she said cheerily.
I picked up my purchases and put them in the front pocket of my satchel and buttoned it shut to keep them secure.

I smiled as the young lad took the candy, but hid behind his friend.
its alright. You can trust me. In fact, you can trust anyone in this town. They are very nice people, always willing to help out. No need to be shy. I sad to him. For a moment, I paused to consider how dark it was beginning to get. I ruffled my wings and decided that it would be best to stay in town overnight, rather than risk flying back to my grove. Especially since the wind seemed to be picking up, and it smelled like rain.
I'd suggest getting inside soon, the storm that passed through erlier is about to do another round. I said to the pair.

Aine stood behind the tavern watched the storm approach. The wind whipped her hair as it blew fiercely through the streets. She ignored the people around her. She was wrapped in her own thoughts as she watched the storm come.
She saw the rain fall in the distance before it reached the town. It came upon them quickly, and she raised her face to it as it fell on her. People ran for shelter, but she stood unflinching beneath the torent. It filled her with vitality making her feel stronger, powerful.
However, it brought back memories she'd hoped to forget. Still they were painfully clear. Wasn't it a day like this that she had met him?
She scowled at the ground.
After all these years, your going to start sulking again? she asked herself angrily.
She sighed and turned her face to the rain once more, concentrating on the power came with it.
