Title says all heart I saw the book "Wild Magic" on the shelves at a bookstore when I was in middle school. At the time, I loved horses - so the cover (that has horses on it) captured my attention immediately. I was hooked biggrin I quickly bought all of her other books, and loved them all. I still read them over and over again! So what's your story?

I've been steadily reading my way through all the fiction books in my high school library....I reached the Pierce shelf and I was hooked. I've read all the series at least 4 times and I've read my favorite from each more than that.

Was browsing through Barnes & Nobles, looking to see if there was anything interesting. The title 'Wild Magic' caught my eye; anything with magic in it has my attention, unless it's princess-y, fairy crap(if it's funny, though, I'll read it. but none of this 'omg, ur really a princess, and im lyke, ur magical fairy friend whose come to pick you up so uy can save the world and find true love too biggrin DD'. No.)
So I picked up the book, read the back, figured it was worth a shop, took the other three in the quartet, and headed home. I read all four within three days, and recieved the SotL quartet for X-mas that year. I also checked out all the PotS books at the library, and borrowed the Tricksters from my cousin.
I now own the complete SotL and Immortal quartets, books 2,3, and 4 of the PotS that I got from my cousin while she was getting rid of some old books, and Bloodhound. Oh, and forget 'Tortall and other Lands' which I got like, last week. xD
There was a week in which I would do nothing but reread books from Tortall. Two books a day, give or take a few. It was also the week in which I abolished my sacred rule of never rereading a book. Pierce is just too good not to value.

Kikoname Natsuko I saw the book "Wild Magic" on the shelves at a bookstore when I was in middle school. At the time, I loved horses - so the cover (that has horses on it) captured my attention immediately. Yup. Exactly what happened to me haha. But I only read "Wild Magic" before thinking "hmmm mayhap I should read the first quartet." So I did. And it's still my favorite. All throughout middle school, anytime we had some sort of book report/project due, I would use T.P.'s quartets for me projects. Still reread them even now, though my copy of "Alanna:The First Adventure" is threatening to come apart at the seams. But it's ok. I've got that one practically memorized!

Umm, in 7th grade I think, I didn't have a book to read, and my mom handed me the first book in the first Quartet of the Circle series, and I got hooked, I read all of them, and then when Will of the Empress came out I got my grandmothers copy. Then, when I was with my grandmother for a week during the summer before 9th grade, she was listening to Terrier, and I fell in love, didn't even hear the beginning or the whole end, so next time I got a gift card or money to go to Borders, I bought Terrier, and I read it, and I loved it even more, I've reread it a million times, then when Bloodhound came out, I waited until I could finally get my hands on a copy(my grandmother bought it, read it first then gave it to me), read it, and loved it too. And now I've pre-ordered Mastiff, and it should be out in November and I cannot wait! smile
I haven't read any others but the ones I talked about up there so yeah...I keep meaning to, but I can't get my hands on the Alanna series to start, so yeah...
