necrofade I want....that thingamabob from animorphs! That thing that lets you shapeshift! >.< I cant remember the name of it to save my life..BUT I remembered the show! Ooh that would be cool. I don't remember what it was called either but I used to read the books.

Ooh that would be cool. I don't remember what it was called either but I used to read the books. I don't know that they ever named it. I can only recall the characters calling the device by its general shape. I could easily be mistaken though, I haven't so much as touched any of those books in... probably at least a decade now.

mourn_of_blades I don't know that they ever named it. I can only recall the characters calling the device by its general shape. I could easily be mistaken though, I haven't so much as touched any of those books in... probably at least a decade now. I was reading them as they were being released so however long ago that was, all I really remember is one of the characters turning into a cat at one point. I forgot that there was a device that enabled them to change, I thought they just, could. It would be a handy device to have though.

Saber Pendragon I was reading them as they were being released so however long ago that was, all I really remember is one of the characters turning into a cat at one point. Yeah, I read them at about the same time, at least up until volume forty-something. Saber Pendragon I forgot that there was a device that enabled them to change, I thought they just, could. It would be a handy device to have though. Yeah, but the whole 'having to touch an animal to acquire its DNA' thing makes it kinda limiting, if you don't have access to the places the characters did.

Probably between volumes ten and twenty.
