Katya of Frasurlund

The silence of the library was all-encompassing, wrapping Katya in a blanket of comfort and familiarity. After spending her summer back in the port city of Frasurlund, it was a pleasant change to have a place so still and silent to go to think.
Multiple cousins vied for her attention back home, wanting tales of the palace and news of courtly goings-on, but here Katya felt as though she could just melt into the background, vanishing whenever the whim struck her.
The library was the lady knight's first stop after arriving at the Palace. It always was and always would be the place in which she was the most comfortable. Though she could spend days on end lost in the realm of books, Katya knew that she had tasks still left to accomplish. With a sigh, she placed the leather bound tomes she had been perusing in a neat stack on the mahogany table next to her favorite forest green reading chair. With a groan, Katya prodded her aching muscles into action, leaving the comfort of the library for the boisterous Palace Grounds.
