A- Stick with Gene and progress towards the intended destination? There are whispers through the group of more exotic Pokemon closer to the farms- Pinsir, maybe even a Scyther!
Growing kind of bored, she smiled and nooded a bit to his stories, but after a while they were really getting old. She was to polite to say so though, so she walked to the edge of the group to admire the relaxing bug pokemon in the forest.
Realizing after a moment she was starting to fall behind, she jogged ahead, catching up to the group. 'I hope this pans out, I came here to help, and I wouldnt complain one bit if I caught my first pokemon while I was at it...' She thought to herself as she walked in silence on the edge of the group now.

Lila had no interest in attacking any Caterpie or Weedle that were just hanging around, minding their own business… so despite the fact that she was bored out of her mind and getting sick of Gene’s stories pretty damn quick, she kept close by the main group. After all, Momo seemed to be enjoying it. He was twittering happily, bouncing up and down on her shoulder, focusing intently on Gene and his Meganium. He at least enjoyed a good story, no matter how tedious it seemed to his trainer. He also seemed quite entranced by the large amount of pink and petals going on with the two. Ah well.
Hopefully they would run into something more interesting once they reached the farms; though Lila wasn't entirely sure how she was going to get around to actually catching something.

As much as LT8 wanted to, and she REALLY wanted to, go and break off, she knew that it was better to be in larger numbers. Unless of course they were cornered next to a cliff or something and then might be taken out like 'fish in a barrel'. She looked into her pack again, making note of everything once more, and then hoping that she didn't have OCD or something.
She had tuned Gene out when he first started talking, to look around and pay attention if the group was suddenly attacked. Although she didn't have a pokemon of her own, with the supplies she brought she was pretty sure she could at least ward them off if any decided to suddenly show.

B- Use your flamethrower for other things, like.. hitting Vanessa upside the head, knocking her out, and staging a mutiny (of sorts. Can you mutiny of you're not on a boat?)
Well, she had asked for this. Not the flamethrower, specifically. But this adventure could defiantely be filed under "interesting." It could also be crossreferenced under "foolish," "maniacal," and "poorly thought-out." Dekel's reaction to the flamethrowers didn't help. For some reason, the grass type didn't like the overly enthusiastic nature some of the wielders displayed. She had to do something, for her sceptile's sake, if nothing else.
Nothing is gained without strife. Alas, that scorched earth left nothing of worth to be rebuilt with. The people on both sides of the conflict were lost, should such wonton destruction continue. There was a need for a stop to this.
...There was a need for a hero.
Completely caught up in her mental play of how this scene would translate to words, Sabine launched herself at Vanessa. "VAE VICTUS-ohcrap!"
Of course the problem with getting caught up in your fantasies is that reality hurts. Like really, really hurts. Sabine tripped over her flamethrower as she was waving it around, and faceplanted in front of the fiery tyrant, hard. ".... I regret nothing! ... except the dirt in my teeth." She spat out a mouthful of grit.

Yahya was going to place his faith in Gene, even though he felt a small amount of dismay that they were passing a bunch of caterpie and weedle. Hopefully, Gene's display of ignoring these pokemon meant that he knew exactly what he was doing. Going with Gene could lead to more rare pokemon, and even Yahya wouldn't pass up an opportunity to catch a pokemon that was rare. This may not be the most interesting journey, but that also meant they weren't getting attacked by a swarm of bug pokemon, or getting lost... or various other bad things.
Yahya was doing his best to look on the bright side of things. Even if they didn't find anything rare, well, it wasn't as if they had lost anything but a few hours walking around aimlessly. It was a nice day, and they were keeping a pleasant pace. There was no reason that Yahya would be all that disagreeable. It was quite possible that there were very few things that would get his mood down right now.

Kai'e glanced at Yahya as he spoke to her, offering a small shrug. "Hopefully," she replied. "It looks like we've got a lot of walking ahead of us, or maybe running depending on what sort of pokemon we run across. I'm Kai'e, nice to meet you."
They started off, and had she not been walking Kai'e probably would have fallen asleep as they moved on. Gene was a seasoned farmer all right. She wondered what Vanessa's group was up to. How were they faring? And on that note... was that a big cloud of smoke in the sky? Whatever. Not her problem.
As they passed by the weedle and caterpie, Kai'e paused to stare. They weren't on land, but what if they moved onto land? She bit her lip, undecided before she shook her head and jogged to catch up with Gene's group again. Curiosity was eating away at her -- she just HAD to figure out whether the rumors of Pinsir or Scyther were true or not!
"Sooo, anything in particular you're looking forward to seeing?" She asked Yahya as soon as she caught up with him again, nudging his arm to catch his attention.
