Do you prefer watching your anime in Sub or Dub ?

I like both, but I think Sub is pretty much winning because the voices match, and you learn some japanese as well :]

Definitely Subtitles. Mostly because the other languages fail to pronounce Japanese Names [Like Japanese fails to pronounce other language names]. Not just that, but they are not from the same Corporation, example you cannot find in a site two episodes of Bleach with the same actors because they're simply not from the same corporation. Also, their voices mostly don't pass to the faces of character. Additionally, if people were to film a Naruto Film [Actual Film] then they would take some Japanese actor, when we all know that Naruto does not seem Japanese at all. Simply, it's best as it is originally. [Also why I like Manga over Anime]

I agree with all of the above. I also agree with liking the manga over the anime. Usually the anime leaves important things out (at least things I feel are important) take Elfen Lied for example. The ending in the anime left it as a cliffhanger, and the ending in the manga ended it with no cliffhanger, all the information was provided to say this is 'the end' while the anime gives people the assumption there might be a sequel when there will not be.

I cannot stand subtitles. I would rather watch the movie than focus on the subtitles at the bottom of the screen.

It is the biggest annoyance to have to stare at the bottom of the screen and quick look up to catch the show as well. That's why I am somewhat torn by the two.

This is exactly the reason why we read Manga.

Honestly, I've been reading Fairy Tale now Im about on the 80th chapter, and I still haven't found a reason to watch the anime. It will probably let me down in someway or another..

Although I hardly ever watch anime, I prefer subtitles, especially if the dubbing is done through Disney. Nothing against the company, but they always make the voices in the wrong tone. I don't mind reading the subtitles, I am used to watching Pan's Labyrinth by now to just read them out of the bottom of my vision. If the dubbing is good however, I will watch it, but I have yet to find one that hasn't made at least one of the characters annoying.
