I thought that this topic would be good for explaining what differences have happened during the time skip for original characters, rather than having it posted in the rp when the time comes. So, here's an example with Saberie
Saberie landed in a village of tiny people at the bottom of a mountain. At first they were pissed that she crash-landed in their crops at harvest time and tied her down to the ground. (kinda like gulliver's travels)
But then some old tiny person said that she was some prophecy that would defeat the giant oni demons on the mountain top. Saberie thinks that they're just regular sized oni (because she's a giant to the tiny people) and agrees.
She then gets her a** handed to her by the GIANT red oni named Peitoru and is about to be eaten when he takes a barrel of brandy off her neck and decides to spare her and teach her the ways of the oni if she teaches him how to make brandy.
List of Saberie's new 2y stuff
- lost her elemental gloves, uses a spear now
- can transform into oni Saberie with the use of special brewed sake and an oni mask that the oni showed her how to make. Oni Saberie allows her various amounts of strength depending on how much sake she drinks. If Saberie pours the sake on her spear, it transforms into a scythe.
- uses illusion haki, which allows her to appear as another person. Does not gain any abilities, can not vocalize in this mode or the illusion will break; the first hit also breaks the illusion.
-shorter hair,
-taller (5' 2"), generally looks her age ( 18 ) instead of a preteen girl when she was 16.
- Dragon tattoo is gone, a koi tattoo covers half her body

Physical changes - well... stronger. you can only get stronger after all... amirite? also, instead of wearing an eyepatch and having to concentrate hard to remember stuff, she wears mirrored shades, the inside right one being double mirrored so she can remember stufff just by closing her left eye. Good times.
Longer hair.
Still fairly flat chested lol
Mental changes - A better artist, better cook aaaaaaand yeahcan'tthinkofanythingelse.
Might add more later if I can think of anything :S tempted to try drawing her X'D

Deireadh lands in a medieval-themed island.. Where drinking is forbidden in most areas.
He is captured by guards and put into a sea-prism stone cage.
Deireadh's looks are very strange to the people of this island and it brings the attention of the queen.
He explains that he has no bad intentions in their kingdom and is finally let out with the catch that he has to go through a bunch of trials by the kingdom's knight trainers or he will be "permanently banned"..
He passes them all and is given the chance to learn the kingdom's most prized skills.
New Skills/Abilities:
-Can now use Kenbunshoku and Busoshoku Haki to high standards.
-Can now fence.
-Can now use a broadsword to the finest swordplay.
-His hand to hand combat is much better.
-He has learned many skills of a carpenter.
-He can brew really nice rum, sake, and beer.
New Look/Stuff:
-Now wears a stereotypical leprechaun outfit.
-He carries around a broadsword on his left side and a rapier on his right side.
-Is usually seen carrying around moonshine.
-His broadsword's holster is shaped like a hammer (which he can use as a weapon, being able to still use his blunt attacks like before).
-He almost always has the same psycho look in his face. He went crazy without his daily routine of getting drunk.

Hadlar landed on a desert island, after coming to in heat of the baking sun he began to search for life and a way to rejoin with the Strawhat pirates. The days gave him problems but the nights where far out of his realm of comfort, he eventually collapsed and was later found by two people and taken back with them to their home.
When Hadlar awoke later the next morning he was in a desert oasis, a adult man and woman, after giving Hadlar they revealing themselves to be the people who saved him Hadlar felt a debt needed to be payed to them for their troubles. He helped search the desert during the day when the heat was to much for the two humans to handle for long, searching for seeds that where scattered by the plants in the oasis. Their goal was to expand the oasis be feeding the seeds while they grew, giving the couple a larger place to call home.
However Hadler's true payment towards them was when he helped fight off the desert bandits that would take any resource they could get their hands on. While fighting off a small wave of bandits the pair used Roukushiki martial arts, Hadlar wanted to learn more about it in exchange for helping them for the next Two years. As the next two years past Hadlar's racial ability to adapt to new climates took affect and his look changed more dramatically then most of the crew's had.
New appearance:
Normal Form changes.
- The end of Hadlar's tail loses it's quill like spines and is now thick like a club.
- Hadlar's skin is now dark brown where it use to be dark green and lighter brown in the areas it was once light green.
- Hadlar now wears cloths around his body and over his head, the cloth around his waist having his tribes symbol for warrior on the front of it. As well as multiple shell-plate armor pads on his body, and from time to time a hard shell spiked knuckle plate used to increase his punch damage.
- Far more bulkier then he once was, allowing him to withstand cold easier. He now also stands 8'3", weighs near to 500lbs, and is 28 years old.
- He has also learned many forms of Rankyaku, Shigan, Soru, Geppou, and Tekkai and is able to use them in his normal and hybrid forms
Hybrid Form changes.
- Now much larger then it originally was, and its color is a brownish-green.
- Now has 4 thick vines as opposed to his original 2.
- Is now able to create spores from both his mouth and plant on his back.
- Now has a venomous bite.
- Has learned to heal through absorbing nutrients in the ground by using vines.
Full form
- Also has a size increase.
- Spores and venom are stronger in this form
- Is able to heal faster by rooting into the ground, and also helps absorb impacts from enemy attacks.
- Able to grow and retract multiple types leafs, and berries around "trunk" to hide better in forest areas. These also are able to work as medicine ingredients for chopper.

EDIT - shortly before the whole Sabaody incident with the Strawhats and stuff, Natsuin ended up in Impel Down due to an unexpected encounter with Kuma. She was obviously arrested and everytime she tried to escape she was recaptured. Sadi-chan found her an easy target and took every opportunity to torture her and Kujira, an old friend of hers she encountered there. Eventually, Luffy came to Impel Down in order to save Ace, and in this a majority of the prisoners were freed, including herself and Kujira, but they got caught by Magellan. At the spur of the moment, Natsuin attempted to make a deal with Magellan, but he technically broke it after agreeing to it - the deal involved letting Kujira live, but Magellan ppoisoned her and she died soon after, so as revenge on her part she signed herself into the Impel Down team with her left hand, making it void, but they didn't know that. Over the next two years or so she became stronger, drawing if she managed to get any spare time (which was rare) and cooked for them as well once she had gained enough trust. Sure, she felt like she was betraying the pirates, but she wanted to live. Eventually a few months before the Strawhats reunited, she stowed away on a Marine ship with her old clothes and katana, having finally decided enough was enough, getting off at the island the ship went to before trying to get a ship there... then she needed to get it coated, but she had no beri to do it... so now she waits to try and find a ship to stow away on in order to try and find the Heart Pirates.
