I have wondered why it is OK to praise God in music, when you're going to sell that music to the general public.

Why is that OK, and where in the Bible would it say that its OK to do so?

The thing is that most Christian artists either
A) Don't get a whole bunch of money.
B) Use most of that money to fund churches and missions trips.

Making music to praise God and then selling it is alright. That is, as long as their cause is not purely to make it rich. I'm not sure where it says in the Bible, but I do know God tells us to stay away from greed. But he also tells us to use our gifts to spread His word, which is what most Christian artists try to do.

Well, unless you're making christian music to earn money (aka making money off someone's faith) you're not doing anything wrong.

People worship God in many ways, some like to make paintings, other will try writing a poem, some will prefer to write a song about him and some other will bomb the s**t out of other countries :3

what do you think about these lyrics

Cause the devil is a loser and he's my b***h
For better or for worse and you don't care which
Cause the devil is a loser and he's my b***h
Runnin' into trouble you skitch
He's my b***h

In that case, I would say that the ends do not justify the means.

Whether or not they had good intentions isn't the question. The fact is they were using language that the scriptures takes a hard stance against. Whilst I cannot speak against the entire genre, I can say that we shouldn't have anything to do with that song in specific.

Bibles are sold everyday for money. Is that wrong?
