My sister actually first introduced me to Death Note because one of her friends recommended it to her. She started watching the first episode and I walked in and started watching it with her because it seemed very dark and interesting. Then we watched just about the first three episodes, had to go eat dinner, then we never continued watching.
Then my friend started spazzing about it maybe half a year later, and the name "Death Note" seemed eerily familiar to me, and when she started describing it, I was like, "Oh yeah! That one series with all the apples!" So then she started ranting and kept on linking me to a site with all the chapters in it, so I finally caved in and finished the entire series in less than a week. :] And I haven't looked back since!

hm~
i've known death note for quite awhile now c:
though it was only recently i gave it a chance hehe.
it's vague, but i think i discovered death note when my friend and i were playing a game.
it's similar to the death note game i guess.
we took turns on writing names on her notebook, who would we want to "rid" off in this world.
after playing for an hour or so, i asked her where she got the idea. she told me she got it from this anime, death note.
and yeah~

In the world of anime Death note is always a recommendation, so I tried it. I was expecting it to be better though, since it's so popular. Still it's ok I guess.

My friend had the manga sitting on her desk. I borrowed them. Then stopped reading after L died. Haven't ever read/saw the end. Don't really want to.

This may seem kinda weird, but I laugh at people in pain. For no reason. And once, I laughed at a kid falling from the bleachers at a football game ( <-- doesn't like american football that much ). My friend turned to me and shoved death note in my face saying 'oh man, you would love this'. And I do.

So one day me and my friend got mad at this guy, and she recommended we write his name in the death note. i had no idea what that was and so she explained it to me. me, being me, i wanted to write it so i did(remember this was at school). so after i had written it, i was stupid enough to tell him i did, and the jock who he was, got me suspended mad from school for a month so during that month, (you have to remember i didn't know it was an anime) i looked it up.. AND I FELL IN LOVE!!! so basically, DN got me suspended smile

A few years ago (4.. wooow time sure does fly...) my friend's aunt said it was the worst anime ever because everyone ended up dying.
So we decided to read/watch it and we were like YEEEAAHHH BEST ANIME EVER.

I saw a manga in a store in England and it had a picture of Ryuk on it, and I was freaked out so I googled it and started reading the manga. Then I started watching the anime and it's awesome! yum_puddi

Three years ago my sister and I were talking about anime and how she though i'd like Death Note because it seemed like a thing i'd be in to... and well she was right. Since then I've watched the complete Death Note anime 5 times heart gaia_nitemareleft
