As I've been getting more and more familiar with the more obscure Sailor Moon meta series I've realized something that has annoyed fangirls and drawn in fanboys from far and wide...panties. Yes, as a girl they have been the #1 annoyance of my anime experience. I think the SM anime offended the most and it's just continued from there. Anyone who's watched PGSM will be able to either regretfully or excitedly tell of skirts flying and showing their white undergarments in full live action glory. However, as I watch Sera Myu something strikes me odd. Flashes that I've come to expect are simply not there, and only one or two have been seen over the course of the first stage (that I've watched so far). The reason? While in the anime and PGSM the Senshi bottoms are clad in white, the Sera Myu they wore colored short shorts. Ex: Mercury wore blue shorts under her skirt.
Getting to the point, if you were a Sailor Scout what kind of underwear would you wear/prefer others to wear?
If you haven't already guessed my route would be shorts.
