Nice! Well, Inception is really good and I think it's out on DVD now. Donnie Darko is worth a watch.
If you want to go for the classics, there's Alien (and Aliens) and The Thing (1982), my personal favorite. 3nodding

I'm feeling the desire to watch Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Butterfield 8 to honor her.

I quite enjoyed Megamind. I'm surprised that it was overlooked as much as it was. In terms of characters the movie was great.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K)! great series. if you want to watch crappy science fiction movies with funny commentary.. There's plenty to choose from on Netflix instant too That's basically all I watch on Netflix.. that and The Cosby Show xD
