The Pagan Tea Shop-Spells and readings

So, my birthday is tomorrow, and for the past two months or so I'd been planning to go to this big sushi dinner with all of my friends. It was gonna be great. All-you-can-eat Japanese food, a bottle of sake to pass around, awesome stuff like that. Well, over the course of a while, people started dropping. They couldn't make it for whatever reason. Even my best friend and his girlfriend(who is also a good friend of mine) told me yesterday there is a definite possibility they can't make it. And they were the last remaining ones on the list.
So I get the lovely decision if they can't make it: Go alone and be the only person at what was basically going to be my birthday party, or not go at all. Thoughts?

Classical Hands can you not change the date of the dinner thing? :c I thought of that, but scheduling with my friends is like trying to catch chickens with chopsticks.

All you can eat sushi? No way I'd bail on something like that! I also love to nom. <3 More seriously though~ rescheduling sounds like the best idea. It's your birthday and surely your friends understand. I can see how it would seem like a bummer. I mean, next week isn't your birthday- tomorrow is. It's happened to me before but I get over it because you'll have just as much fun when it happens as you would tomorrow. & happy early birthday. c:

Okay, I'm going to be that person so brace yourself. Not an accident - but don't let it get to you. You deserve better than that from the people that you would consider to be your friends. My adivce is get out and a get smashed in spite of them.
And don't forget the drunken calls to your mates about 'how much of a great time you're having since they arn't there to bring you down'. Break a few eggs, honey.

you could always try for a secondary plan. like, taking the money and going out to a pool hall or a skating rink or a bowling alley. socialize with strangers if you can't have your friends around. or call up your family to fill spots. smile
sorry to say, but the older we get, the harder it is to make plans with our closest friends. iii-_-

How many shopsticks? I'm sure that I could catch chickens with enough chopstcks. A few hundred thousand and I could build a chicken coup to keep them in.

I'm sorry sad Happy 22nd Birthday, though! (It always makes me so happy to run in to people in Burn who are older than me, if even only by a few months, lol.) So what did you end up doing on your birthday?
