The different breeds of Sonic fan

Very interesting indeed, since from my own observations it really is pretty accurate. It's kinda frightning how well that site even describes me too o_o According to it I'm a universal SoA-leaning fan... of course, I already knew that... it's just interesting how "typical" I aparently am...

Although I disagree with some of the things mentioned of the SoE breed... I've met a couple StC extremists and have seen a few StC fans b***h about other fandoms ._.;; But other than that the article's scarily accurate.

Intresting for a "general" studying in the Sonicfandom.

Hard to find myself in one of those categories.... but at the look of the list of Universal Sonic Fans breed: leans more towards Sonic Team.

True, since most forms of Sonic are quite dead where I live(except the games and Sonic X.)

I saw that a while ago and completely forgot about it until you posted the link here. smile That list is so detailed and amazing, it must have taken ages to write! I fall under the "Universal Sonic fan leaning more towards Sega of Europe" category according to this, btw. 3nodding

There haven't been for some years now, since Fleetway ceased publishing StC. But I suppose you've had no reason to go looking for them.

A lot of the fans here're in their twenties or late teens and've had the time to accumulate random bits of Sonic knowledge. You'll do the same in time. smile
