DAL hails from the countryside of the Sengoku nation. As a child, he was orphaned by O'deska's first rampage. Fueled by the desire for revenge, he trained to serve their current emperor's son as one of his elite guard but failed the final test due to his size. Enraged even further, he left the Sengoku in search of power though he is still loyal to the prince.
Years of survival and his recruitment into the Draconians of Mars have turned him into a savage swordsman with a hunger for blood. It is unknown how he gained his ability to use psionics.
