 At 1835 Central Time (yes, a mere two hours ago, as of this post), the wife and I welcomed child number three, our second daughter, to the world. At 7.5 pounds and 20 inches long Gwen Eva is big and healthy, and though she is on assisted oxygen (she was just a hair early), she's expected to be just fine in a few days. And now, I'm gonna find a chair to collapse in and try get some sleep.

Many thanks to all for all your well wishes and positive thoughts. Things have gone well, and barring any unforseeable events, Gwen should be coming home tomorrow. And now, for those that are undoubtably curious, here's a pic I managed to snap of Gwen the other day.
