An epic level feat, improved eschew material components is pretty cool. You still have to pay xp prices for stuff, but at an epic level...who cares?

Crumpet Lord Attention: I have need of the energy substitution feat, detailed in complete arcane, for a character i am playing. (A stormcaster who wants to make his fireballs lightning-balls). Anyone who has this, could you just reply here? Just copy out what it says in the book. Thanks. Choose one Energy Type when you take this feat (i.e., Acid, Cold, Electricity, or Fire). You may change any spell with a different Energy Type to this Energy Type. All other effects of the spell remain the same. You may take this feat multiple times, each with a different Energy Type. That is totally insane.

Armor Specialization: DR 2/- when wearing the chosen type of armor
Shield Specialization: +1 shield bonus to AC
But my favorite combination of feats so far. . .
Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Chain, Spiked)
+
Hold the Line: Attack of Opportunity against a charging foe that enters a square you threaten.

My favorite would have to be Craven from Champions of Ruin... +1 damage on sneak attack per character level, -2 save vs. fear.

goliath+titan bloodline+monkey grip=COLOSSAL WEAPON!!!!!!!!
let me explain........
goliath has a racial ability "powerful build" so he couts as a large creature with out the minuses
(Large weapon onehanded or Huge twohanded).
Titan Bloodline gives you Wield Oversized Weapon at 12th lv.
(Huge weapon onehanded of Gargantuan weapon twohanded)
and Monkey Grip you should already know
(Gargantuan weapon onehanded or COLOSSAL WEAPON TWOHANDED)

Unfortunately it has been stated many times that Powerful Build and Monkey Grip do not stack.
In addition to this, a character with Powerful Build or Monkey Grip does not get to wield a greatsword in one hand, even it is medium. He would get to wield a large longsword in one hand, or a large greatsword in two hands. However, he would get a -4 penalty if he tried to wield any type of huge weapon or attempted to wield a medium greatsword in one hand.
In 3.5, a medium greatsword does not equal a large longsword as it was in 3.0. They are two completely different things.

It may not seem that great but for sorcerors and wizards one of my faverites is improved familiar. Starting at lv. 5/7 you can pick up a more powerful familiar depending on your alighnment. There are alot of them but to me the best ones are a quasit/imp if you are evil or a psuedodragon if you are good. They are inteligent naturaly and get bonuses for being familiars. Each one retains their natura abilities and everything which means if you are good and have a psuedodragon familiaer your character has an inderect blindsense from your new pet.

playing a sorc, i loved having the draconic feats out of complete arcane. i loved the draconic breath feat, which allows you to convert any spell and do double its level in d6 damage as a breath weapon. draconic power, draconic legacy, and draconic resistance were the most useful ones
