My season just ended, but our show was "Leonardo da Vinci" Themed. Like... kind of telling about how he dreamed that a human being could take flight.

Sad I didn't catch this thread earlier, but our show was themed "Twice as Nice" with every song being a double entendre.
Movement one was an ode to Beethoven with the double piece "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." We start out with a percussion rendition of the piece, followed by a whole band section. The brass feature exhibits the strong and powerful while the woodwind feature was nice and soft.
We had music from Dave Matthews. "My Baby Blue" was the song paired with huge, six foot double baby blue flags brought by the color guard.
The final song was "Wild Nights" a song based off of the painting "Starry Starry Night."
We got 9th at state this year. =]

My band's show for last year was about Winter . It was called The Winter Effect . There were snowflake props on the field , the guard had snowflakes , white swing flags , grayish silver first movement flags , and a multicoloured third movement swing flag .

My shows for the 2011 college marching season was "glee", "Michael Buble" (the guy who's supposed to be the next Frank Sinatra), and Space theme.
