Accepting that the lesson was over for today, she carefully tucked away the stone into one of the pockets concealed in the feminine ruffles of her dress and pushed herself up from the floor. "I'm ok. . ." she mused at his query. ". . Thank y-you. . .but. . .can. . .Can I ask you something?"

The sudden query even caused her father, who had been sitting quietly across the room to look up. It was rare for her to even talk to strangers THIS much, but to ask questions without provocation?

Long, serpentine tail snaked up and twisted through her fingers as they stroked the long feathers, gathering up a bit of courage as she pressed the matter. ". . .Y-you're dressed like. . .I think they call it. . .well. . .Holy? R-right? I. . .I want to ask s-something. . .about it. . ."

He nodded in acceptance of her insisting that she was fine. As long as she felt fine he was sure it would be alright besides her parent didn't seem to suddenly throw a hissyfit over the inadvertent injury she had caused herself. Enzo paused at her question and then tilted his head as she fumbled through what she wanted to ask or at least set up for her.

Enzo smiled warmly at her and nodded a bit, "I was of the Priest profession, yes. What is on your mind? What would you like to know?" He wasn't shy about answering questions and he was certain she wouldn't come up with anything too difficult for him to answer. At least he hoped she wouldn't and even if she did he would do his best to give her a satisfactory answer.

Mustering up what small courage she had to ask it, the girl hastily got to the point. "M-My...my demon Daddy. . .H-he died. . .Did. . .Did he go to h-heaven?"

The question caused Eilender to swallow a deep groan as he slowly hid his face in his hand. Never! Never would he have thought she would ask that sort of thing. This was, after all, the little girl that slept more than she spoke, who was always polite, and who had never asked something quite so provoking. Not that the question was offensive, but he hadn't even come up for an answer to that sort of thing himself and hadn't expected a stranger to be put in this position.

Mimosa was adamant though. "H-he just slept. . .a lot. . .like me. . .That's not b-bad enough. . .to go. . .to go to hell, right? He was a demon. . .but n-not a VERY bad one. . ."

He wasn't thrown completely off guard but he was surprised he let the question roll about in his mind as she looked toward him for an answer. He gave a quick glance at her Guardian and nodded toward him reassuringly before he looked back toward her again and finally said, "Unlike some others I cannot pretend to claim to know what happens to demons or even angels when they...die. They are spirits in their own rights and once a spirit is extinguished it is believed that they just are not there anymore."

Enzo tilted his head a little, "But I believe that they still exist but in a different form...They become the ether that helps us make magic and create spells to help us when we need it. They become apart of the entity of magic. So really it all depends on what you wish to believe Mimosa and if it makes you happy to believe that a part of your father is in each spell you cast then I am behind that belief because that is what I think as well."

It was this particular all encompassing belief that got him in some trouble in his priesthood.

The answer wasn't quite what she expected. A moment passed as she sat and thought it all over. Ultimately, the girl smiled and nodded. ". . .I like that. . .I still w-want to know. . . more I mean, . . but I like that. Thank you, Mr. Enzo. . .you're a very nice man. . ."

The relief was evident in Eilender. Pushing himself up, he moved over to the two of them and breathed a sigh of relief. "Well said, dear, and thank you for your wise words, Enzo. And for teaching my daughter so much today." Placing his hand on his daughter's head, he patted his child affectionately before gently offering a nudge towards the door. As she made her way out, he turned back to the teacher. "Thank you, for answering her with a good honest opinion. I'm sorry she put you in that position, but you handled it really well. I hope I can request you again sometime - and that she can visit...but for now...I do have to be going, before she falls asleep again on me."

It was then he patted Enzo on the shoulder and turned away, following after his little one who had only managed a foot or two. Scooping her up, they both waved back at her new found mentor before heading off into the afternoon to build on what he'd taught.

Enzo smiled back at her, "Of course. It is always good to ask around, it is never bad to be a little curious," he replied quietly and then turned his attention to the Guardian and nodded his head a bit. "It was no problem to answer her question she is lucky to have such a good caretaker that will allow her to be questioning. I look forward to seeing her again one day, she was a very good student," Enzo said sincerely and then moved toward his desk.

He waved to them both as they left the classroom and once the door was closed again he allowed himself to reclaim his seat and once again start up the game he had started moments before. Later he would do the paperwork for now he had a game to play while he thought things over. It felt good to be able to answer questions and to keep others calm and happy.

Enzo certainly hoped she'd find the answers she wanted to know.
