After having watched this weeks movie I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions on it. What did you like? What did you hate? What could be better? Anything you can think of that you have an opinion about with regards to this movie would be interesting to hear. Please share your thoughts 3nodding

Personally I quite enjoyed it and it has been some time since my last viewing of it. It was still as enjoyable as I remembered and even though I had to cut my viewing experience short I had another wonderful night with the guild viewing.

I'm just sorry that it was just the two of us and Dolphina who wasn't able to participate in the conversation. But maybe we'll be able to rope her into being a regular.
I don't think it's possible to talk about the movie without talking about the comic-book basis. I wasn't an avid reader (for despite my interest, my mothers misgivings prevented me at the time when the series started and I was young enough at the time that this was actually an impeding factor) but from where I was sitting, it really appeared to revolutionize the idea of the anti-hero, or at least take it a big step further than it had ever been taken before.
Honestly, I'd have preferred a bit less Christian imagery. I don't remember how much was or wasn't in the book, but it's tantamount to saying that they were right, and quite frankly, I don't think they are. I was more in love with the idea of the hero being an undead hellspawn than the thought of the other side of the coin, but that's why I read Dante's The Inferno but was bored by Purgatorio and didn't attempt Paradiso.

I didn't get to enjoy everyone's company. I thought the movie was very b-movie-esque for a movie with such high initial ratings. It had some weird scenes and creepy characters. But I only got to watch to part 4 then my internet died.

Every Sunday at 2 am. I'm still going to schedule a second showing that'll be within your schedule, but it would be best to get everyone in on that showing.
