A quick tutorial since I havent posted one in awhile...
How to "fake" color.
What I mean by this is just a quick way to color freebies and other such things you dont want to spend -too- much time on, but want it to look decent with color all the same.
1. Draw your image.

2. Use a grey color to define the shadows in the drawing, under the line art area naturally on another layer

3. Goto the layer transparency setting on a new layer, and goto about 36% or so, depending on the color you're working with.
Start to color in the area, say its a shirt, color the shirt in, with the color choice, making sure you're coloring ABOVE the grey shadow area.

4. Continue like this until the whole drawing is colored, using other layers for each area and color, just incase you have to adjust the transparency.

5. OPTIONAL: Smooth the edges of the grey lightly. OR if you think it needs it, pick a lighter color grey and UNDER the first grey you used on another layer, color around the edges to make it seem a little smoother. Either one works, but this is more of an optional step.

You can see more of this applied here: Click it

Angeni1 do u use a special program? I use either photoshop 7.0 or photoshop cs2.
However you can get a free art program similar called GIMP.
