Hokona Mayu 'I like you.... but______________________Mayu watched in silence, noting the reaction Takashi had to being constrained Greeeat...this is going to go so well. he didn't say anything though since he'd already given Katashi the ok to do as he pleased Though this is going to bring another issue. Really...this is going to be such a mess. he gave a heavy sigh and put his chin in his hand, slightly amused to see Takashi send the restraints right back at Katashi. I hate you too..........................................

ι м α ι ✧ k α т α ѕ н ιThey say ignorance and devotion are linked...Katashi wasn't surprised to see that the student broke out of the restraints, however when the kid launched the spell back at him Katashi was too surprised to put up a kido barrier, which he would have been perfectly capable of creating to block such a weak spell. The student was upset, and unreasonably so. Though the spell was weak, Katashi couldn't help but fall to the floor. Hardly five seconds after falling to the ground, Katashi channeled his energy and easily shifted his limbs about until he could stand up. Once he could stand, he did, and cracked his left wrist. Sai always made him stiff, especially after being on the receiving end. After having stood up, Katashi looked at the Soutaichou, who seemed amused by the fact that the student had countered his instruction with a feeble attempt at the spell. Furrowing his brow slightly, Katashi cracked his knuckles and rotated his neck a bit.
In response to the student's actions, Katashi said, "Your spell is immature, to say the least." This was Katashi being nice. He could have said "pathetic", or "hardly an attempt at the spell at all", which would have been more true in his mind. The Vice-Captain believed that to truly say you know a spell, you should be able to restrain a lower ranked Shinigami. Without turning away from the student, Katashi glanced over at the Soutaichou. As he looked back at the student, he couldn't help but smirk at the idea that passed through his head. Though Katashi covered his mouth with his left hand to hide the smirk, he continued his instruction, "Why don't you try your new spell on the Soutaichou? I'm sure that going against someone with his reiatsu would be a better gauge than myself and would help you to get stronger. Also, as the teacher I need to be able to fix your form as you go." Truthfully, this was slightly because he was still sore about their earlier interchange, but mostly it was because Katashi hoped that the student would take him up on his option so he could see how things turn out. I think it's just the opposite.

Hokona Mayu 'I like you.... but______________________"Ooh, lets." Mayu said, standing abruptly and stepping forward. He was grinning wickedly and had spotted that little smirk Katashi had tried to hide "It will be fun." he said, perfectly cheerful. But as he stepped forward, Mayu adjusted his level of spiritual energy and the wood cracked slightly, small splinters rising up around his feet "I look forward to it." he was still smiling but there was this dark malice behind it. It wasn't a killing intent but the air seemed to get heavier as he stopped, grinning like a fox at Katashi. He knew exactly where the attack was coming from even if it wasn't being performed by the same person "Shoot me, Takashi. I give you permission." Takashi heard the order and obeyed promptly. "Yes Imai-sensei." Takashi said turning to Hokona-sensei after getting his permission. He had added sensei after Imai's name to give him the proper respect as his new teacher and a way of apologizing for his actions. "You said 'fix' my form, how would you go about doing that?" Takashi asked looking Hokona-sensei. He didn't want to waste his teacher's time on one technique. He wanted to keep training and learning more so getting everything down, even the posture for the technique was a necessity. Solo-training 3/10 paragraphs

ι м α ι ✧ k α т α ѕ н ιThey say ignorance and devotion are linked...Katashi's eyes followed the Soutaichou's movements, before turning to the student. When the student spoke of how Katashi would fix his form, Katashi simply sighed and rubbed his head. It seemed quite obvious to him, but it would still be best to explain his decision. "Earlier," he began, referring to the last time the student had cast the spell, "I couldn't watch your form. This time, I'll be able to analyze everything you do from how you chant the spell to how you hold yourself while casting. You can't learn a technique just by imitating another person. That leaves your technique broken and unrefined." Having said this, Katashi stopped rubbing his neck and lowered his hands. He adjusted his sash on his waist and looked at the Soutaichou who was ready to be the dummy of the lesson. "If you wouldn't mind casting the spell on the Soutaichou, I will be able to see and hear your technique and understand what you are doing wrong and what you should do differently to make your technique better. It's the little things in Kido technique that separate a weakling from a master." Truly, it was. Reiatsu made a difference, of course, but technique alone could make a spell more powerful tenfold. This is what Katashi would teach his student, and what he hoped his student would understand he was trying to teach. I think it's just the opposite.

Takashi nodded his head to Imai-sensei. He held his hand out, and pointed his index finger towards Hokona-sensei. He fixed his riatsu so he could perform the technique with no problem. "Bakudo # one sai." He was far more calm this time. As he perform the technique and launched it at Hokona-sensei.

Hokona Mayu 'I like you.... but______________________Mayu tapped a barefoot on the floor as he watched Takashi and Katashi speak to one another. He smiled as Takashi faced him and watched the technique come "39." he said, moving his hand fluidly in front of him like he was brushing Takashi's attack away like a fly. A shield of condensed rieatsu immediately formed a perfect circle in front of him and Takashi's attack smashed into it and shattered like nothing "Good job. Not a bad attack at all for your second try." I hate you too..........................................

Takashi had suspected as such, Hokona-sensei wouldn't allow himself to be restrained by such a simple bakudo spell. Though the technique he used to defend himself did interest him. He looked over to Imai-sensei to hear what he had to say about Takashi's form and performance. Then turned to Hokona-sensei to ask about the technique. "What was that you used just now?"

ι м α ι ✧ k α т α ѕ н ιThey say ignorance and devotion are linked...Katashi watched the performance with an unreadable expression on his face. He was analyzing even the slightest muscle movement in the student's body while thinking about how to fix his form. After the Soutaichou blocked the spell, and the student asked about the technique, Katashi responded flatly, "It was a technique you will not be learning any time soon." While walking towards the student, Katashi cracked his knuckles and brought the picture of the student casting the spell back to the front of his mind. The stance was remarkably sloppy, and it would take some work to point out everything with just the stance alone that could use improvement. Then he thought about the tone of the student's casting of the spell and what wasn't quite right about it. Since the student was calmer, the spell obviously came out easier. "First," Katashi said carefully, and raised his left arm with the index and middle finger pointing upwards, "Your index and middle finger should be pointing upwards," with his right hand, he pointed to his two fingers and continued, "Never facing towards an opponent. A skilled user of this spell can cast it on multiple opponents and thus there is little need to point at a specific target, it doesn't do anything, even may weaken your technique." Next, Katashi made a downward diagonal sweep with his arm, "Also, it helps your power if casting it on a single opponent to swing your arm downwards. This doesn't work on multiple opponents, but you can use it in this situation." Katashi believed that this was the basics of the form issues, so he continued with the tone of how the spell was cast, "When you were casting the spell, your voice fell at the end and died off. If anything your voice should go up when casting the spell." he made a little diagonal upwards to his left, the student's right, to signify the upward tone. "It sometimes comes out like a person is shouting the technique because when you're first learning a technique, it helps focus your energy if you bring the tone up rather than letting it die off at the end." After having said all of this, Katashi continued, "That's the basics of the technique. Try once more on the Soutaichou, and if you remember everything I told you you should have gotten your technique to be of passing quality, but little better. Anything else you have to discover on your own." With that, Katashi folded his arms and watched to see how the student would respond. I think it's just the opposite.

Takashi looked nodded respectfully taking in the information given to him about his performance. "I didn't realize so much was required." He released a bit of riatsu to prepare himself for the technique. Doing as instructed his fingers were pointed upward instead of at soutaicho Hokona-sensei. He had his target so there were no need to point at Hokona-sensei. "Bakudo number one! SAI!" Takashi voice started powerful and ended with even more of a boom in volume as he did the technique, following Imai-sensei's orders. His spell would rush at Hokona-sensei even faster and stronger than before but what the real shock was he wasn't the only target. Taking Imai's advice about multiple targets Takashi aimed the spell at both his teachers.

Hokona Mayu 'I like you.... but______________________Mayu watched and made his decision Yup. Imai is going to be the teacher for this class if no one from Fifth division takes it. he thought as Takashi struck a second time Nice. he twisted his wrist once more, his own technique at casting spells more loose than Takashi or Imai's. He had developed a fluid motion that caused the spells to almost roll off his hands and body when he so choose and it made them that much harder to escape from "Not bad. 8." Takashi's spell seemed to freeze as it came into contact with another round shield, this one smaller, and then rebound sharply back at him. I hate you too..........................................
