Prisca bit her lip once the memories had faded. As much as she recognized the feeling of being inside the test tube, hers was a totally different experience. Hearing that man, again, actually brought shivers down her spine. Not because she was unused to such people. That was hardly the case. The threat by Team Rocket before she decided it was better for her to leave her first home and encountering people afterward, she had seen such people who cared for little of the personality behind the powerful Pokemon before them. Seeing those memories from Xero made her understand more what he had meant earlier.

Biting her bottom lip, the woman shifted her position on the floor so she was back at his side, the opposite from the fire so as not to get in his vision. For a moment, she just sat there, looking down at the floor while she thought about her words. Her voice, when she did speak, was as gentle and soft as her hands when she worked on her jewelery.

"Are you afraid of turning on me like that? To see me as competition?"

No more was said. There wasn't anything else the woman could think of to say in a situation like this. Nonetheless, no matter what Xero chose to show her, it wouldn't change her opinion. She let her arm touch his, again, in a small gesture of understanding.

"I am...." He paused as the fire crackled. "...and you becoming like that."

Xero's tail flicked. There was that other half of him that believed that she would never become like that. That there was nothing to worry about. However, years of experience with individuals of a like mind were enough to keep his feelings combating with each other. He had no reason to believe Prisca would become like him other than his own insecurity.

The over all mental struggle frustrated him. That much was obvious on his expression, which until now had carried no emotions. Prisca had seemed to be very talented in bringing out his emotions, yet another thing he could not understand nor, at the moment, cared to. He couldn't even understand at this moment why something so simple as a touch on the arm could be aiding in keeping the frustration and anger from running ramped through his mind.

"That is why I say that your father had much more success in your creation than the scientists who created me." Xero added, still unable to bring his gaze back to meet with Prisca's.

"Mm. I do have that side. Not a handfull as strong as yours."

As much as that didn't help matters any, she wasn't about to hide things from him while they were on the subject. It was true she didn't think that side of her was all that dangerous. Mostly, it was just an itching to use the powers on something. Anything. Those were times she took a visit to the ocean to vent it out on the water.

Scooting a little closer to him, not being able to see Xero's expression but knowing something was up, Prisca laid her head on his shoulder. "I still doubt that's possible. Wherever this DNA came from, it overpowers everything else." Her tail curled over her lap once more, the end of it on the side of her body where he was sitting. To avoid getting into contact with him, it curled once it hit the floor so it ran around her knees. Tails were something personal. "And I already have a small taste of it. Quite good at controlling Blizzard. Enough to create real ones."

Turning her head, she looked at him with a loving smile that sent a twinkle to her purple eyes. "As much a mistake it was to create something with the sole purpose of making a weapon," she added. "Be glad you were. I am."

Xero's focus lingered on the fire even after she lay her head on his shoulder. Being thankful for merely existing was a new concept, he had never viewed the situation like that before. In fact he never saw himself as more than a weapon, a destructive machine.

As his thoughts progressed his expression relaxed replacing anger with regret. Too many confusing human emotions! He was still unsure what to think of this new human form. Though, there were some aspects of it that he rather secretly enjoyed. Such emotions that left him believing what Prisca was saying to him.

Finally after another what seemed an endless pause of silence he took a deep breath. Some color returned to his cheeks as he once again was able to focus on the kind of affection he was receiving. He took it as more of a comforting gesture at this time.

"It is wrong of me to assume based off of my own past...." He finally spoke, side glancing Prisca. "Though, it may take some time to be used to that concept... I am fortunate to have not found all of the experiments." His own way of stating that was happy of Prisca's presence as well.

It didn't need to be said clearly for Prisca to understand the meaning behind it. She lifted her head just long enough to give his cheek a little kiss. She had always been an affectionate Mewtwo, but this new body made it much easier to act on those impulses. She certainly didn't miss only having three fingers.

"Shouldn't assume so badly of yourself, either, Xero." Uncurling her tail from around her knees, the woman got up off the floor to stand in front of him. For a moment, her eyes followed the flickering flames of the fire. "We're a special case. We can't really change our programing, but it doesn't dictate whether we're nice people or not." Looking back at him, she gave Xero a kind smile, placing her hands in front of her skirt in her usual fashion of standing. "We can always just find some way to appease it."

She could only hope no more had been made after her start to be weapons. Or even in secret before her. That would surely not be a good meeting for him. Or her, for that matter. She doubted they were the only ones. It was only a matter of time before the others showed themselves.

"Now...I'm taking a break in between work. If you had nothing planned today, would you care to spend it with me?"

At the peck on the cheek Xero's eyes widened. Whatever thought that had been lingering in his mind faded away to nothing leaving him with a blank stair into the fire. His face flushed red with embarrassment. Perhaps it was the human emotions that had caused such a reaction. Surely as his former pokemon self he would have not found such a thing 'embarrassing' or even had the ability to 'blush' so severely as he was now.

When his mind gained the ability to think once more Prisca was already standing on her feet. He had heard her previous words, just not had the mind to comment or even dwell on them.

With a cough he got to his feet as well, not bothering to dust off as his mind was still clearly elsewhere. His tail curled upward in the typical mewtwo fashion as he finally was able to look Prisca in the eyes once again.

"I-" Xero had thought of working more on the house to distract him once more. Than again, what harm would there be in spending the day? His face was still quite red and he was having trouble focusing. "-am terribly sorry, I do have somethings I wanted to finish today. Perhaps a later date?" He rubbed the back of his neck unsure if that would have been the correct answer... curse these foul human emotions and their fumbles!

-RP Summary

The moment was quickly lost and the feeling spread across the room that it was now time to part ways. Naturally, goodbyes were said and it wasn't long before Prisca excused herself from the room via teleporting. Xero was left looking back into the fire wondering if he should have taken up her offer to spend the day together. Or if his decline had been taken a negative way. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously a few times before extinguishing the fire than teleporting back up to the second floor, where said work needed to be done.
