But, does anyone here think vampires exist? Not the ones in literature and movies...and certainly not like in Twilight. But as in real people with a genuine need of blood or energy in order to remain healthy and alive?...
Again, I am asking this from a purely scientific point and would not attribute such a thing to spirits. In my opinion, everything that occurs has an explanation within the laws of nature.

I just think it's odd how people automatically assume that if spirits exist they must be outside the laws of nature. The laws of nature would encompass all of nature, one would think. There are no doubt lots of things about nature we don't currently know about or understand.

I'm sure I will inevitably quoted and asked to "prove it" but I'm going to say it anyway; yes, I do believe those kinds of things exist, they would likely be an entirely different species and not really human at all....one that for one reason or another has a biological need for blood but physically looks identical to a human. These organisms would of course still technically be people though, with normal emotions and only slightly different, if at all different to a human other than the need for blood. In fact odds are it would be more of a genetic mutation of sorts, that would occur naturally within certain people and thus meaning vampiric people could be born unto completely normal parents. (Awaits Talavar to arrive and destroy everyone here including myself, anyone know if he's a member of this guild?)

((There are people with extreme iron deficiencies with the desire to feed on blood. Kind of like the urge to eat ice is a sign of possible anemia. And it can be caused by psychological issues as well. I've seen something on this on the Discovery or Health channel before. 3nodding ))
