Poooooor Snowe!

It seems as though the hot weather just doesn't agree with the boy, its gotten him in such a growly mood! The poor thing, he was just not in a good mood at all but don't worry! I got it all fixed up! So, I went down to the local store to pick up one of those little kiddy pools, the sort that are a few feet across a half a foot deep, along with a bunch of bags of ice. I filled the pool half way with water, added in the ice, then added Snowe and... well... I have never seen him so happy!

Instantly he was splashing around, growling in a happier manner, and picking up ice to chew on. I was smart though, yes something that doesn't happen often I know, and I put towels around the pool so that it would get water all over since its set up in the kitchen! Snowe splashed quite a bit but not enough that it would get passed where the towels were covering.

It went well if you asked me, though he was a little unhappy I wouldn't allow him to bring his stuffed seals into the pool, and after he exhausted himself I got him out, dried him off, and let him crash on the couch! Now for the downside... one of my boyfriends came over not long after Snowe was done swimming, he offered to make me something to eat since I was a bit exhausted after setting up the pool... and well a moment later I heard a loud SPLASH and a CRY of surprise! Well... it seemed that he didn't see the pool since the light was off, stepped into it, slipped on the ice, and went down in the pool. Oops... I should have maybe warned him? He was a little grumpy until I explained why we needed to have a ice pool in the kitchen!

Well... I hope that he will forgive me, he usually does.

It seems, much to Snowe's delight, that the weather is cooling off which allows him to be more active during the day without overheating. He still enjoys having the ice water pool set up though we have since moved it into the dining room area so that nobody else will fall into it. Would you believe that both of the twins managed to do so? I really think that Stephen never warned Atarah about the pool... likely so that he wouldn't be the only one of them to fall in, they are such children at times. I blame it on the fact that both are quite jealous of each other and the fact that they have to share me... I know I should feel bad about that but I really can't pick one over the other, both are so sweet and nice. Well sweet and nice to ME... to each other on the other hand they are like... well... brothers fighting over something that both want.

Oh! One a funner note then lover's quarrels Halloween is coming up! I am gonna dress Snowe up, then we can go out and get candy together! It will be lots of fun for us both! I really need to get a stroller for Snowe soon... I love the boy dearly but he is quite heavy. I find myself wondering if I should worry about Snowe's weight...? Is he too heavy? What is the normal weight for a baby polar bear boy? I really have no clue on that one. On top of that should I bring him to the vet or to a human doctor... so confusing. I will have to look into that among other things. I will be sure to do that soon, first though we need to go shopping for a costume that will fit his pudgy butt. hehe

So that was interesting. We went out trick or treating to try to get some candy for Snowe and I to share and it would seem that we went to the wrong neighborhood. While we did get a bit of candy we also got a menagerie of pets, a ring, a rock, a doll, and a pair of goggles. There was also a syringe of... something but instead of taking it I might have dealt a little harshly with the one that tried to give it to my baby.

Snowe seems to be happiest with the rock for some strange reason but he also finds fascination with the doll, likely because it's unlike anything that he has ever had before now. It's a strange toy perhaps for a boy to have but I am not about to take it away from him just because it's considered a girl's toy. If he gets bored with it then I might but for now I will allow him to play with the two strange treats.

A part of me wonders what Atarah and Stephen will think the next time they come over and I have all these pets running around, I guess we will see soon enough.
