Lorne slowly set his claw down and opened it, gently rolling Jas onto the ground. He was wheezing and panting, and for very good reason: that last attack had evaporated all of the moisture in his lungs. The inside of his throat was charred and raw, and he stepped away and vomited a bit of blood into the grass. Still, he seemed content with his victory, albeit back to his happy-go-lucky always-willing-to-help personality.
Ganon stepped forward and carefully pulled his spear out so as not to hurt her more. It took several moments to do it, but he finally managed to get it out and began to clean it. Once that was done, he strapped it to his back again and bowed to Mararan. "You fought well. I'm amazed that you're still conscious after all that." He smiled and stepped forward. "Lorne will give you both a ride to the first aid station, if you wish." His voice cracked a bit from pain, and it was clear that he himself would appreciate some first aid. The gash on his chest was bleeding badly, opened further by all of his movement, and his destroyed wing was twitching pitifully. His leg was mangled and he could barely stand to bow.

Mararan took Jas' head into her lap when Lorne let her down. She flinched as Ganon took out his spear and continued to cry when she saw how beaten her baby was. Boy, did she feel sick...
Looking up at Ganon from her awkward sitting position on the ground, Mara cracked an even more awkward smile. "Not well, but thanks." She croaked. "And I shouldn't be conscious. I'm almost positive I won't be much longer..." She struggled to stand, taking the small Jas into her arms. "A ride would be nice...let's all just get out of here...shall we?" Her vision was growing a bit grey, but she shook it away. She'd pass out when she could lie down.

Ganon smiled and took Jas, then tried to climb Lorne. His left leg gave out and he slid pathetically to the ground, holding back a yelp of pain and clutching Jas protectively. "... Lorne, little help?"
The wheezing dragon lowered his head and carefully picked Ganon up by the spear, which Ganon held onto tightly with one hand. He set Ganon down on his back as quickly as he could, then moved his head back down and lifted Mararan onto his back. After that, he turned and started back toward the first aid station. After a few minutes, he tested his wings, spread them, and carefully took off. He stayed low-- an intense struggle, but it kept him from getting too fast and generating too much wind-- and set down about a hundred yards from the tent. He tried to lessen the concussive blow of the landing as much as he could, and covered the remaining distance on foot. He carefully set the three down, then collapsed from exhaustion.
Ganon groaned as he and Mararan were helped inside, and Jas was carried in after them. He felt himself hit the bed and he stretched out, closing his eyes and falling immediately asleep.
[How big is Jas, anyway? o.o]

((pretty small. About the size of a large dog. I think I sketched a picture..oh, I did. It was just a quick sketch to see the sizes of each of my kyns...its nothing to be proud of. She's the one to the left of the human. If you couldnt tell..XD)) To tired to object to Lorne or Ganon's help, Mara let Jas and herself be picked up and hauled away. The flight to the tent wasn't as nice as it could've been, since Mara found herself fighting to stay awake and keep all previous meals down.
By the time they got to the tents, Mara could barely realize she still had a name, let alone the fact that they weren't moving anymore. She blinked at all the strange people and then decided it was a good time as any to faint.((Whoot. I'm loving how it was the tiniest (not really) kyn against the largest. It was certainly interesting.))

[Yeah. XD Okay, so she's small enough that Ganon's spear really would have done nasty mean things to her legs, but large enough to mangle his leg. XP]

((Oh I've seen plenty of big ol' dogs do nasty things...*shiver* And I kept asking myself, "shouldn't she have passed out by now? Shouldn't she be like...gone?" >.< Well, either way...))
