Evanna plays Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films. Here, she explains something very important about body image, and what it means to be able-bodied. She explains that to be confident about your appearance is to free your true self, while insecurities restrict and paralyze you. Everyone please read this. It’s beautifully written and I think its message is very important and extremely relevant. HP Alliance: "Why the Body Bind is My Nightmare" - Evanna Lynch

Yeah... being short and overweight, having low self-esteem from being teased my whole life, and then looking at pictures of pretty, skinny rave girls wearing bras and tutus, I struggle with my body image sometimes. I really think Evanna has a good and valid point. Those things really do hold you down.
Also, this is definitely something Luna would think. Luna has her own opinions, a very open and free mind and soul, and I love her to death for that. She's my favorite character in the entire series.

Yeah and this is why I like what Mandy Moore has been doing for body image. She wouldn't be considered fat, but in her industry they want her to lose some weight like 15lbs or more, but she tells them she is perfectly fine with her body as it is.
