Schwarz lives alone in a small village where he is infamous as an alcoholic thief and drug dealer. He meets with Murasaki, Violet, Magenta, Chartreuse, Rouge and Rose after being accused of stealing a valuable magic book stolen from Murasaki's mother. He ends up helping the group out with their search, as he is familiar with the area and other known criminals.
Schwarz is involved in no relationships other than his relationships with drugs and alcoholism. He is disliked by many and often ends up with injuries from fights he doesn't remember getting into. He gets along well with Chartreuse, possibly because of their crude humour, bad language and generally similar corruption level.
Schwarz, ultimately, ends up having been completely useless in Murasaki's search to reclaim his mother's stolen item, but insists on hanging around the group even after the book is found.
