Rose turned around to hear his garbled response and watched his face twitch slightly at his reply. "Are you ok, Fungi? You don't look so well," Rose said, looking worried.
"Do you wanna take a little rest first?"
Rose went over to Fungi and felt his forehead. "I think maybe you should stay in the shade. I'll get you some water from the lake to cool off yeah?"
And off she went.

"M' fine." He said quickly back to Rose, his tone surprisingly sharp. "M' good," he insisted with less confidence as he let Rose touch his body. He felt a bit strange as he felt her press against him, but he didn't feel sick at the least. The feeling in Fungi's chest got tighter as she pulled away.
"W-wai-!" He said as he stumbled after her when she went off to get water from the lake. "M' good, m' good! Promise."

Rose turned to see Fungi shakily chasing after her and backtracked to meet him. "Okay, if you say so. But I don't like the way you're stumbling like that. Let me help you to the shade, I doubt this sun is doing you any good."
Rose put his wing over her back and held him as she brought him over to the tree's shade. She set him down delicately and then sat next to him. "Is there anything I can get you?"
She had a slight worried face for this stranger she just met, he looked so fragile. Well, he just fell out of the sky. But not only that, he looked worn. She wasn't sure if falling out of the sky seemed so routine for him or it was something deeper. He hadn't mentioned if he even had a flight to begin with or if he was just a solitary wyvern. He just looked... tired.

Fungi let Rose cover him with her wing and walked with his normal heavy feet to the shade. "Thanks." he replied to her as he sat down, "M' good. M' sturdy; fall all the time. Used to it. Sun too."
He squinted as Rose's face as it scrunched up slightly in concern. How cute, he thought, but decided it was too embarrassing to have all of the attention on himself. "Do... do yah live here? At teh' lake?"

Rose blushed a bit when he seemed to stare at her, a bit redder then her usual pink. She just hoped he thought it was the Sun or something. "Yeah, I do live around here, in one of the caverns lining the lake," she answered.
"Today, I agree though, is especially sunny. That's why I was down at the lake. Washing a few tiny apples and cooling off.
"Do you have a flight?"

"Yeah; Steamdock. Steamdock Flight. M' small." He replied to her, looking away as he remembered about Ice Cap. She'll be angry that he crashed again... Her glares always feel like a stone dropping in his gut. "You?"

"Ah. My flight's all out foraging. I'm usually the one keeping the cavern. My flight isn't so big either. About 3 of us, not mentioning the egg."
Suddenly, Rose remembered the egg back at the cavern, she needed to make sure it was alright and warm enough. She had a slight worried and panicked look, her maternal instincts kicking in. After all, that's why she was mostly guarding the cavern. Tending to eggs and daily housekeeping was her forte. She turned tot he direction of the cavern, then to Fungi who was resting against the tree. She didn't particularly want to leave him, especially not in his post dropping-out-of-the-sky state. But she knew that her family and flight came first. "Fungi, I'm so sorry but I lost track of time. I need to go check on the egg back at my cavern, I don't want anything happening to it," Rose told him, hastily standing up.

"N' same." Fungi replied. Most of the time he's doing the foraging himself, which, if you thought about it, was slightly strange since he was such a poor flyer. "Ice Cap... cavern. Only two."
Suddenly, seeing Rose begin to panic Fungi started to become aggetated as well, shifting his body in order to calm his turning stomach. "Sorry? N.. nn, okay." He shouldn't follow. Even someone like him wasn't as stupid enough not to know that going into other wyvern territory was a bad idea. "Maybe see you. Nn... later." He ducked his head down in as a sign of dismissal and began to scratch the top of his head with his claws. He didn't want Rose to leave, but knowing what Ice Cap would do to him if he forgot his duties, he didn't want Rose to be punished either.

She saw Fungi look nervously around and she did feel torn. Well, maybe I could stay a little longer...
"Will you be okay on your own? I could go back and check and be back in a jiffy."

Looking quickly back at Rose, Fungi straightened his back and made himself look as strong as he could without looking silly. "M' good. No worries. Durable. Very."
