Last month, I made myself a personal stalking thread.
I put my two tanks on each page, plus thirteen other tanks.
Every time I go to the next page, it refreshes my two tanks which helps me keep an eye on them when I'm expecting a glow.
The thread title says "under construction - please do not post"' and the first page of the thread is a single post with the same message in large, bold font.
( I did this in case I might accidentally bump the thread sometime - my LT has a wonky touch-pad.)
I built the thing during the wee hours (3-4 am, EST) and I did have three people post in it (during the construction phase), despite the title and first page, but I got them to go back and delete their posts.
Today, I notice my thread has been awarded two negative votes.
O_o
I'm almost certain they weren't there this morning.
I thought, I must have a stalker - but the last time I posted in this thread was 28 Dec, and "My recent posts" doesn't go back that far.
The only other thing I can think of is that one of the people who posted during the construction phase saved the link (my relations with all of them were cordial, and I sent each a gift after they deleted their posts).
Other than that, no one should have a way to access this thread (except maybe a mod or dev?)
Anyway, that's my mystery story.
Oh, and ImageShack sent an email, yesterday saying that someone had tried to reset my password, but I don't use them on gaia, I use photobucket here.

Wow! Thats the first I've heard of negative votes on stalking threads. Weird
My bump threads get them - which I think is stupid cuz whats not to like... Unless the negative attitudes come from those who are jealous... LoL
Strange that someone was trying to get into your ImageShack acct too. Interesting.

MystiMcMuffin Wow! Thats the first I've heard of negative votes on stalking threads. Weird My bump threads get them - which I think is stupid cuz whats not to like... Unless the negative attitudes come from those who are jealous... LoL Strange that someone was trying to get into your ImageShack acct too. Interesting. There could be no reason to get into my image acc't except vandalism. I belong to a few musician's fora, and there were a couple instances where someone posted a picture of a guitar, then someone got into his acc't and substituted porn - which got the first guy banned for a few weeks until they sorted it out through the appeals process.

What i can't understand is how could anyone find this thread? Unless one of the people who posted in it saved the link, or someone dug down to like page 8 on the AF, how would anyone find it?There could be no reason to get into my image acc't except vandalism.
