What happened to Captain Rowd?
Sorry if a topic like this has been made before, but chances are it's a few years in the past now...
Anyway, during my winter break-Suikoden-marathon, I got to thinking, "You know, I can't remember what happened to Rowd!" And, according to a villager in Kyaro, he simply "ran off somewhere."
So, where do you guys think Rowd is now? Is he plotting his revenge? Is he hiding in the woods, living off the land? Has he gone mad? Or has he been eaten by a bear? Now, I'm off to Suikoden III as I patiently await a response from the ever dwindling forum! sweatdrop We'll make a comeback, one day, one day...

Rowd has a sister?!? D: I... really? It has to be a cover story! I can't believe Luca would ever want to do something nice for someone, particularly as lowly as Rowd. I hope he returns in a future Suikoden so that we can finally put him to rest mad
Also, thoughts that Nadir is really Culgan suffering from wounds incurred during the fall of L'Renouille which are causing his unreasonable outbursts of love for the theatre? I can hope, but perhaps I am alone in it emo

personally as one who went to great lengths for family, i can get behind the sick sister story plot. makes Rowd not so grrr to me. although the hero fan in me still wants to see him get eaten by zombie's (what? don't judge my love for zombies)

Yeah, I'm replaying Suikoden II at the moment as well, and a thought came to me.
I was at the scene where you get your tablet of stars, and the thought hit me. Does Jowy also get a Tablet of Stars? It's a valid and extremely good question. If he doesn't, we know that Leknaat picked us over Jowy, and, in a way, decided the war. The tablet gave Riou that hope of people to gather.
If Jowy did get a tablet, then who was on his tablet? There is probably Hans. Maybe Yuber. Culgan, Seed and Leon Silverburg would be. Jillia? Pikila?
Who else would there be?

That's a good point! surprised Jowy probably doesn't have a tablet because he's so neglected, but if he did, I would expect to see them on there. Luca probably would be too, only he'd be faded out since he kicks the bucket. Maybe Solon Jhee, too. Sasarai?
This is why Jowy loses! He let his comrades die before the final battle, so he gets a crappy ending ^_^ Although I guess it turns out for the best as long as Riou saves everyone :]

Yeah I'm not surprised there can only be one tablet... but what happens to the tablets after the war is over? They just hang out there for all eternity for people to come and look at or write graffiti on? surprised
I think it all makes for some hilarious scenarios, especially if Leknaat doesn't have a say in who she's "guiding." I wonder if she's ever been silently unhappy: "Oh hell... not THAT guy!" scream
I started playing SII again because I'm an addict and got to thinking how annoyed I would be if she kept showing up while I was sleeping to talk nonsense at me and then disappear D;

I'm trying to remember who he is... sweatdrop I knew when I saw the name that he was from Suikoden 2, but I can't remember anything beyond that. When I try to think of him, Culgan comes to mind. .-.

He's the jerk in the beginning of the game who tells Joey and Riou to run into the forest (where they'll die), and later on identifies them when they sneak into the Highland encampment looking to borrow "butter."
