It's possible and might be real. The key was to hypnotize people to receive those two commands. What makes them super is that they won't go against "programming" and will do whatever possible to achieve their mission. If we can make a person think they're a chicken, there's no reason to not believe they can't kill a simple mortal target or cause enough distraction for the others to do so.

The only thing that makes me doubt this theory/idea is not only is there evidence supporting brain control is extremely hard (If not possible.) but no way does mind control change physical properties of a person. For example, let's say you get a wounded veteran soldier. If he's in a wheel-chair, brain washing doesn't make him walk nor does it make him stronger or faster.
The other idea that a specific mission and programming someone into a killing machine without skill or physical built strength also makes me doubtful.
