Had kind of an odd dream last night.
I would like your take on it.
I was waiting at this gate trying to get into heaven, but this angel said I couldn't get in.
My form then changed into what you'd stereotypically imagine a demon to be like.
I went in anyway, and it turns out that "God" was trying to conquer something. He would manage to do so if he dropped this old church bell.
Anyway, he was enraged at seeing me and I told him that I would overthrow him and take his place.
I then surrounded the place in flames. In my mind, I prayed for a God that wouldn't smite nor punish others for not following his whims.
We engaged in a contest, which ended up with me winning. Humanity started singing and four bells appeared. He was then defeated and I took my new place as ruler.
Afterwards, it turned back into the regular weird things I usually dream.
Something about fanfiction, a scary child and Lady Gaga. gonk
Personally, I think the dream symbolizes my stance on God. Some Christians would see me as a "blasphemer" (which is what the demon form represented) for questioning God and thinking that I knew better when it came to morals.
And the fact that I won probably means I have a lot more confidence in myself than I give myself credit for.
Anyways, discuss.

Well I doubt you even know the name of the Father in heaven. Thus this "god" you fought just could have been satan letting you belive you are right.

I guess it differs with each person.
@buffer920: I wouldn't say I'm a psychopath. But I will admit, I would make a pretty awesome God. wink

Hmm...that's very strange. I would say there is meaning behind the dream and there is a reason you had it, and what exactly was Lady Gaga doing?
From what I've read, she's under Monarch Mind control or something of the sort and worships Baphomet or Satan which could relate to the God part.

Personally, I don't believe in wackadoo religion.
However, it sounds like your par-take on Satan vs God and how it should go. After all, there aren't many biblical books speaking of Satan nor mentioning him as anything evil. Just stories of him being tossed out of heaven, tampering with Adam and Eve, and some other mild BS.
My point is, you might be playing within the role of Satan and playing through a daydream of what it would be like if Satan tried to over-rule God, to make life better. Yeah, I know it sounds crazy. But all we know is that God has done some messed-up stuff, and we don't know a lot about Satan at all. Skeptical maybe?
Although, that's just mythology talk to me. I don't believe in all of it.

King Jelubi Hmm...that's very strange. I would say there is meaning behind the dream and there is a reason you had it, and what exactly was Lady Gaga doing?
From what I've read, she's under Monarch Mind control or something of the sort and worships Baphomet or Satan which could relate to the God part. I don't remember much about that part. Mostly because my sister woke me up when she went into the bathroom.
(It's next to my bedroom).

I tried looking up some things on Satan after my dream. He doesn't seem to be a bad entity at all.
Personally, I like to keep an open mind on the subject.

Personally, I like to keep an open mind on the subject.
All of them and barely anything on Satan. There wasn't anything bad done by Satan unless wanting to share Knowledge with Adam and Eve was evil. ( Even though that story doesn't make sense in the first place anyway. )
They never even discuss why Satan had the ideal of taking over heaven really. From all the tyranny of God and the messed up stuff he's done, it's most likely leading to Satan trying to step in a make a better right.
However, knowing the almighty God, Satan had no chance.
Mythology is a mystical topic.

Captain_Shinzo My friend used to go to a private school and did preaching stuff for fun. He was 3rd in the nation until he quit because his preacher was fired for having porn on his Ipod. Anyway, the guy had to read all the known books there was. That also includes the 5 books on Jesus's tomb, Leviticus, the Bible itself, etc...
All of them and barely anything on Satan. There wasn't anything bad done by Satan unless wanting to share Knowledge with Adam and Eve was evil. ( Even though that story doesn't make sense in the first place anyway. )

It is coincidental, reason why I brought it up.
and yeah, the whole preacher being fired is really messed up. However, it's a Christian thing. The preacher can't be related in adultery in any way, so porn is one of those things. What they should've done is made it a personal problem and tried to "help" him solve it and such. However, that's not how it works so they fired him.
But hey, having a belief doesn't make you good or bad. It's all crazy like that. You can't judge someone for their beliefs. Majority maybe, but not all of them are alike. As for Christians, most Christians are dead these days. By that, I mean there aren't many REAL, TRUE Christians. Because most don't read any of the books or very few books. While, for the others who do, most of them stop believing in Christianity and switch to some kind of Atheism or some other religion.

That and trying to take over Heaven. If God is the ultimate entity and true good, anything that goes against him or that he doesn't like is automatically evil. It's the way of life.

But hey, that's not the big picture. The real picture is God. We are discussing why he should be given the title of true good, why he is considered the loving good god. After all, time and time again the books pronounce God as a Fascist and tyrant a*****e. What makes him good? That he created us? That's not enough for me, really.
With that said, it over-rules the whole point of anything being against him evil. There is a reason for everything, so why be against God?
IN my opinion, if he was real, he was a pretty big jerk.

You think you aren't good enough to get into heaven maybe, or maybe you have done some sinfull things that you need to understand and try to turn yourself into a better person. But in the end it is all what god sees in us and how we see god. So try to be a better person? If you already are, then relax, I'm sure you are fine.
