majorspiker101 age difference will get him though even if its consensual That's assuming that they can prove it though. Molestation doesn't usually leave any evidence behind, and one person's word is usually not enough to get a conviction. So most molesters get away with it.

!~[x] Cheri [x]~! ...or if they're a child? i mean, if they do something really terrible, are they accountable for it? don't read this if you don't want to, but this is just to explain my specific situation... throughout my childhood, i was molested by my older brother. i completely avoided him for 5 years after it stopped--never said a word to him, never looked at him, nothing. i'd told my mom about it when i was 11, and she told me to "get over it," so the summer before last, i tried to. (i was then 15.) i thought we could be friends again like we were when we were little. he just molested me again, but he was drunk. i don't know if i can or should do anything about this. i told my parents this past week and they said they might kick him out, but... i don't know what to do. i don't know what i'm supposed to do. maybe i can't even do anything at all. no one and i mean noone should ever have to deal with that. the fact that your perants did notheing is one of the most dispicable things i've heard. me well if i were you i'd report him AND THEM to the cops. i realize that. that sounds offel and you might go to foster care, but do you really want to stay with people who let that happen again and again. "get over it" is bull. it's not something one can just get over. it's something horrible that happened and needs to be worked thrugh and thats not going to go away that easly.

thanks, you guys are really sweet and very helpful. my brother is 4 years older than me. i talked to my parents about it and they said they might kick him out or cut him off, but they want to come speak to my therapist with me about it first to decide what's best. i doubt i could win a court case against him, but honestly, i'd be happy if i just didn't have to see him ever again. hopefully my parents will kick him out... i really hate being in the same house as him, even though he's in college now and only around on weekends and during breaks. he recently actually came up to me and asked me to borrow one of my game consoles, and i screamed at him for even having the nerve to speak to me. : / i think after that and talking to my parents, i at least won't have to be near him anymore. . . but yeah, hopefully i'll see my therapist with my parents this week and maybe get him kicked out.
