I think as long as you are not scamming others players and stealing items with ghosting the mods wont care.
But if you are concerned why not ask in the Q&A forum?

I have actually talked to a mod about this before..not for myself but I had someone who sent me a PM telling me they were ghosting items and I wasn't sure if it was against the rules or not and they said...
Ghosting is a glitch and not a hack and therefore there is no wrong in doing so as long as you aren't selling the items. They said they also do not encourage it and I was free to report the PM so they could look at the situation. To me even though they are saying it's not a hack they like to look at it as one and it's looked down at. (Which should be kind of obvious)
Either way,I wouldn't recommend it.

It's a glitch, and I guess you're exploiting the glitch for your own gain, which is against ToS. To me it seems bannable, but you'll have to ask a mod to get the final answer.

its when you add a item XD to your avatar and you can glitch it on =] without having to have it onyour inventory xD
