"Sweet talk? Im not a monster yknow, i was raised right. Haha..." he took a swig of his drink and placed it down, pulling the water pitcher towards him and pouring some into the cup. "And honestly? Yeah.....it really was all i needed to know about. There was one more...Do you know any others like you?" With this last bit of words his serious face came on, mixed in with a side of sadness. He looked away from the girl to the Wolf raising his hand out to it "You look like my old dog, Lucy, but your a wolf and your a boy from what i cna tell..." he laughed jokingly and attempted to pet it.

Aiko stood up and padded his way over to Nick. He extended his neck and began licking Nick's palm lightly. Misha watched in silence for a moment.. and then finally spoke. "Others like me..." she murmured.. "There's quiet a few.. but, only one really stands out. I only met him once.. but, I don't know, he usually works commissions... it's never anything personal, like it is for me. So someone would have to be behind him, telling him who to kill...paying him to do it..." she began rambling, and her thoughts were taking over her head and walking right out of her mouth.
She stopped herself. Why am I giving him this information anyway.. ? She sighed lightly and took her drink up, and took a long sip from it. "I don't know too much more than that though, and I'm not sure that was anything much to begin with.." she finished.

Nick sighed the glass in his hand seemed to explode, broken chips of glass held soft in his hand. He began picking them out "...when do you meet this man....and why were you trying to kill me, and not anymore?" his hand started running with blood when he pulled out the last shard, it was about an inch long and pretty thick. "Those two...were my only friends from those days..."

Misha watched him pull the shards and then stood up. "Good point. Why am I helping you?" she finished her drink and turned and headed for the door. Aiko paused, and then followed behind her. Before she walked out the door she turned back, "Whatever you do... don't bother looking for him.. he seeks you. Not the other way around.. " she finished and walked out the door, with a slight whisper sounding like good luck drifting into the wind.

"Yea..." he whispered to himself, as he fel asleep at the stool. A few hours later the barkeep woke him up with a glass of water dripping across his head. He threw himself out of the seat and onto the ground. He crawled out side and manged to stand up keeping his heat-collecting blanket over his shoudlers. It was surprisingly cold in the Slums at night.

After leaving the bar Misha walked toward the slum-hotel she usually stayed at.. She was laying in bed, but couldn't sleep. The entire days events' were re-playing through her mind. Meeting Nick, and their battle, the questions, and her leaving. She knew the one he sought would meet with him eventually, and his fate might end up just like his friends...
She stood up and got dressed.. walking out the door and started to back-track towards the bar..
----
A shadow peeked from the corner of an old ruined slum home, and continued to stray into the only lit streetlight left on. His shoulders were squared and he was tall and well structured. He wore old-fashioned armor, but with new finish and shine. His face was concealed by a helm, and his armor barely made clank as he made his way silently into the light and then retreated back to the nearest shadow.. almost like he was stalking some prey..
