Everyone has traditions of some sort, including this school. Here are some that are from the school E n g o u e m e n t and I (and possibly more of you) go to (most likely other schools practice some of these as well). If you have ideas on more traditions [especially for orchestra cause I'm no longer in orchestra and even when I was, we still weren't technically an orchestra...] then don't hesitate to post them here. I might add them smile
Marching Band
-No running, eating, drinking (with the exception of water), swearing, or PDA (public display of affection) while in uniform
-To be early is on time, to be on time is late. And if you're late, then you're not doing what needs to be done. Shame on you!
-Freshmen fun day: Seniors/Student Leaders kidnap newcomers/freshmen and "welcome" them to the organization for an entire day (:<

-During the final run-through of the marching band season, everyone has the option of taking of their shirts (women obviously wear a sports bra).

-Brass: for championships, the section leaders buy their section condoms to "protect their performance"
-Woodwinds: I'll get back to you on that one
-Halloween football game: the band marches in their costume for the football game half-time show around halloween time (added by Vincent)
-The band family: This one is pretty common, even for non-band/orchestra/whatever people. I really shouldn't have to explain. You can

~adopt/"have" kids with you spouse
