Kaiyou

Kaiyou released the shield with a heavy sigh of relief, nodding silently in response to his companions. He suspected that they would most likely leave within a few moments, to continue fighting, but he was done for the day. With no energy left to expend, the Marshtomp dropped to his knees, settling down onto the hot, sandy soil.
It wasn't exactly his idea of comfort, but he felt utterly exhausted, worn out from trying to hold back the powerful legendary's super-heated attack.
It was incredibly difficult to hold back such an immense field of energy, and it had taken a lot out of him.
He sprawled out in the sand, and his mind went blank.

{{ 0 Damage, Kaiyou's kind of out for the count. xD }}

Mercutio---&---Stella---&---Scarface

As the Heatran was weakened, it tipped over, falling onto its side.
Mercutio, seeing his chance, dashed forward and slammed his elbow into the Pokemon's gut.
This caused the Heatran and groan and cough up what they had come for.
The Gallade quickly scooped up the slimy page.
"Now, Stella!"
The weak, but coherent Mew gently lifted a finger, causing all f the guild members to be teleported safely back to the guild's Main Hall.

Kaiyou

Conscious, but exhausted, the large Marshtomp simply lay there on the floor. His eyes stared at the ceiling, not paying attention as various, battle-torn Pokemon passed him by.
A small Pokemon bounded up to his side, poking him in the ribs, and Kai could just turn his head to look at it, before the Minun flounced away, after determining that the Water-type wasn't in need of medical assistance.
He pulled himself to his feet with a groan, swaying uneasily as he finally drew himself up to full height.
Moving toward the rewards, he fell over once or twice, before reaching out to grab one of the sacks. His hand grasped at open air, trying to figure out where the rewards actually were, as his light-headed-ness made actually moving around in a sensible manner a difficult task.
He finally managed to take the reward in hand, and staggered back off through the crowd, gripping the wall beside him for support.
Arceus. He hoped that his team would let him lie down for a while...
"Mercutio, you're a f***ing a**hole. Get a brain next time." Was all he muttered, his voice clouded with drowsiness.

Atra && Sherman

The moment they teleported back, the Flareon, who was very used to teleportation and didn't need much of a recovery time, suddenly saw the heap of blue and grey on the ground. He immediately recognized it as his Co-Captain, Sherman. With horror he ran to the salamence, right past the Pichu to his best friend. His eyes widened at the sight of the burned hole through his wings, its edges black and oozing.

The Flareon immediately whipped around, baring his fangs at Mercutio.

"You idiot! You son of a *&!^*, ^*%@#$*ing %&^@&&." Atra was livid. "You could have gotten us all *&^%^*# killed! Why, why, did you not $%^&* mention that we were ^%$#$%^&* fighting Heatran? You knew when you sent us the %^&!%* note damn it!"

In his anger the Flareon stamped his feet against the ground, starting a spell. Seconds later a solid icicle had formed, its tip deadly sharp, flying at the Gallade

Not caring about the consequences Atra whipped around, placing both paws on Sherman. The Flareon started praying to Arceus, asking his god to relieve Sherman's pain, to restore his wing...

Sherman was not conscious enough to respond to anything anymore, having passed out from pain.

Cecil was still recovering from unexpectedly teleporting. Again. Godamned teleports.

Mercutio---&---Stella---&---Scarface

With a snap of his arm, Mercutio caught the icicle and tossed it away.
"I did what I needed to do to ensure we won that fight, which we did."
He held up to the journal page.
"Many Pokemon were injured, and that does weigh on my heart, but as you can see, we are all still alive. We are also halfway through completing a cure to defeat Nico. If I had mentioned we were to fight Heatran, imagine how many Pokemon here wouldn't have fought? Those who went would have been slaughtered. You joined this guild, expect your friends to get hurt. Now I suggest you quit bitching and get him to the hospital."
The Gallade was very cold in his logic, even if it did hold a little truth.
Scarface was silent, curled up on the floor around little Stella.
She was alive, but in pain.

Fully out of harm's way and in a much more friendly environment, Kewnew's eyes fluttered open ever so slightly. There wasn't much more ability to move in her frail body other than that for the moment, her face though shown enough graciousness to her presumed savior which she looked up at from her place in his arms.

Even though it took practically whatever energy was left in her, she spoke with disgust on those who put her in this situation to begin with. Physically, the damage done consisted of brown, dead spots on the leafy appendages on her elbows and head, other than that all other turmoil was inner exhaustion from lack of vital nutrients.
Kyle, having not been all that harmed by the battle in any way, saw a Butterfree or some other miscellaneous flying, pretty object and proceeded to take his leave chasing it around the guild's halls like nothing ever happened.

Puer

Puer glared at Mercutio. Everyone but him could see the problems with that. "That's garbage. Lying to the guild so they wouldn't leave? That's an excuse." There was no reason for that. He should have told everyone. He should have told them a little more than "those weak to fire might have a hard time". That monster's very presence was enough to knock them out! What he did was nothing short of foolhardy and homicidal. He could have gotten the entire guild killed.

Even within that convoluted logic... "You should have prepared. Excuse your lying all you like, but you should have prepared. You could have brought rainy orbs. You could have brought Rawst berries. You could have barred grass types and ice types from coming. You can argue that people may not have come... but that's bullshit. We've marched against Nico. We've marched against Rebirth! All you did was risk lives. You nearly got us all killed because you were unwilling to prepare or trust us. " Even Puer understood that. Puer who had spent all his life running at other Rhyhorn and trees. Not only that, but bringing the ones weak to fire had been a liability; they had had to sacrifice fighting strength to protect them. It would have been much easier if they had been told. They were only lucky the number of people weak to fire was low, or they would have lost trying to keep them alive.

"Never lead this guild again." He turned around and made his way through the crowd without so much as another word. The Marshtomp that had protected him earlier had been stumbling through the crowd. It had been easy to notice him due to his odd colours. Puer locked onto the glimpse of purple and rushed over. He shifted up beside the Marshtomp. "Where's your team room? I'll help you get there." Puer was a little taller than Kaiyou, so he hunched to the floor as much as he could to offer the water type a ride. He was considerably taller if you included the spines, but they actually worked as a good enough cradle. It wouldn't be the first time he had carried any unconscious or semi-conscious person on his back.

Kaiyou

Kai glanced at the Rhyhorn at his side, squinting to make out the face of the Pokemon who'd come to help him. His voice was a little bit distorted, but easily recognizable. A friend of the old Scyther, as far as he could remember. He was pretty sure that the Rhyhorn was known as Puer.
"Th-thanks..." The Marshtomp replied, attempting to climb onto the Rock-type's back. He slipped once, still dizzy from the lack of energy flowing through his veins, but managed to get where he wanted to be, nevertheless.
He rememebered now, recognizing Puer to be the Rhyhorn he'd sheltered from the raining magma during the battle. A favor returned, he felt. A shaky smile of realization, and the Water-type passed out cold on the Rhyhorn's back.
So much for coherent conversation, Kaiyou.

Mercutio

Mercutio crossed his arms and cocked his eyebrow at Puer.
"Who do you think you are? I didn't lie at all. I simply left a fact or two out so as to not scare the ever-loving s**t out of many of the guild members. I warned all those who were weak to fire that it would be dangerous, but who am I to ban them from coming? I don't have that kind of jurisdiction. I was told to lead this guild in a battle. Nothing more."
He removed his glasses and cleaned them with the edge of his cape as he began to speak again.
"I can't help it if you are all totally ******** helpless without someone telling you exactly what to do. Preparing yourselves for battle is YOUR duty, not mine. If you had useful items, you should have brought them. But you didn't. You should have been prepared for anything. Instead, you and every other retarded guild member simply charged into battle, putting all their faith in one Pokemon and not stopping to think for themselves a little."
He replaced the sunglasses onto his face, looking around.
"I can clearly see you really are all part of Solaris' guild, for you all seem to share his sheer stupidity. This guild needs leaders with integrity."

Celsus

Celsus had approached at this point. "Say that again and I will eat you." His stomach rumbled as if solely to back him up. "You sent us up against Heatran. Heatran. Because of you, absolutely no one expected a legendary. Someone could have died. As it is, a Guild member has been severely injured. If you'd told us everything ahead of time, we could have discussed tactics. But you decide not to tell us anything because you're afraid that this guild, who withstood direct battle with Darkrai and came out intact, would chicken out. That Flareon specifically asked you what we were up against. You said nothing. And now you call us stupid for not having information that we could have gotten nowhere but from you, but that you could have easily given us?" Celsus lunged almost involuntarily toward Mercutio, jaws open, before he stopped himself and turned away. "That Rhyhorn said it right. Never lead this guild again." With a flick of his tail (that may or may not have destroyed a fragile object) and a slight wince as his burns stung, the Gyarados left.

Mercutio

Mercy rolled his eyes and looked away.
"Solaris has lead you all into worse predicaments than this, and yet you seem to be willing to give him second chances. No matter... If this is the thanks I get for leading a successful mission to obtain a very valuable item to stop a far bigger threat than Nico, I don't want to lead this whiny pathetic guild in any more battles."
He pushed his glasses up to cover his eyes, which were darting around the field, looking at all of the wounded Pokemon.
Deep within the blackened heart, he knew it pretty much was his fault.
And by Arceus, did he hate himself for it.
But he wasn't going to show that to these spiteful Pokemon.
"I'll be leaving now so I may aide in making a cure that will inevitably save each and every one of your lives. Good day."
With a flash, Dicky McAsshole was gone.

Atra && Sherman

Atra stared at mercy as he disappeared.

"Get back here you $#%^&*&^&#xin;g ^T$%^&*%^&!" He yelled. Did Mercy just call them cowards? Every Exploration Team member understands when they join that they are risking their lives for the people and the guild. Solaris was an idiot, yes, and goddamn it Atra hated that little pink fluff of fur. But they expect that. People had said that this Gallade was competent.

Atra turned back to Sherman, murmuring to his friend reassuringly.

"I'm going to father. I'm going to get Nova and Dew, and you are going to be OK."

Era & Sereni

Era gasped in surprise at the sudden Teleport, this time completely unexpected. She recovered her bearings just in time to be bypassed by a horror-struck and furious Flareon. Clearly he knew this Salamence well from his reaction, and she was about to say something to him when he whirled around and began verbally attacking Mercutio. Era flinched at his outburst and swallowed hard, her eyes on the Salamence and trying to ignore the enraged Atra. There was nothing else she could do here, but she gave one last look at the terrible damage done to the Salamance's wing before turning away to find her own Teammate as the Flareon turned back to Sherman.

Era wandered wearily around the other Teams still present, trying to find Sereni where ever the Lanturn was. Unfortunately, the Lanturn was currently no where to be found, leaving Era in the crossfire of arguments between the Guild and Mercutio. The Pichu wasn't one for choosing sides, and in this case didn't know what to think. They had survived, and no one had been killed which was enough for her. It was awful what had happened to...well practically everyone, but if they hadn't taken care of it, who would have? Innocent Pokemon would have been killed by that thing if it truly was, as they had been told, infected by Nico's virus, so wasn't it the Guild's job to take care of it? Still Era kept silent. It wasn't her place to speak with these Pokemon who were so much higher above her in Guild ranking. She was just a Pichu, not even evolved yet, so who was she to join in a discussion by those who were far more knowledgeable, older, and wiser than she. All the same Mercutio's comments stung like physical wounds as he criticized them, and she struggled not to speak out of turn. By the time Celsus spoke up, Era was about ready to cry out in defiance. Now was not the time to argue, they had all been through enough today without turning on one another as well. Mercutio mercifully ended the argument by bowing out of the scene, and Era sighed with disappointment at everyone's actions. Things seemed to be crumbling from within even as they were attacked from without. At this rate they wouldn't last very long at all. Era longed to get away from the spite which lurked in the area, but first she had to find Sereni, and then they could leave.

At last Era found her, waiting where she had watched the argument that had taken place speechlessly. Sereni didn't understand how the Guild could suddenly turn on itself like this. She was exhausted and tired of fighting, and yet when she thought it would be gone for good it had followed them home. Era placed a gentle paw on Sereni's back, and felt Sereni flinch at the touch. "Are you alright?" Era asked her gently, the haunted look in Sereni's eyes chilling her to the bone.

"I...I'll be fine," Sereni responded, weariness slipping into her tone. There were far too many burn marks on the Lanturn's body, and she looked about to fall over. "Era," she whispered, clearly still thinking about the scene they had just witnessed, "Why do they all have to fight?"

Era shook her head sadly, "We can't do anything about it," she said, "What's done is done, and we can't change it. Now come along," she said to Sereni, fighting the sadness which she felt and forcing herself to keep her morale up for her teammate, "Let's go back and rest." Dejectedly and beaten to the core, Era and Sereni left the rest of the Guild to their quarrels, and returned back to their Team Room, the one place they knew to be a sanctuary from the rest of the world.
