Yuri chuckled. "Naw; you probably wouldn't fetch a good price. If you sell your self alive to some wacko collector of oddities, or have your hide stuffed ... now that might be worth a pretty penny ..." He ignored Kuro and got to work, letting the beast sleep. The sun crawled across the sky as he worked, and the thick-blooded Russian was sweating up a storm as the outside temperature rose. Wiping moisture from his forehead, he quickly moved to the shade, not one for summer heat let alone the temperature inside the greenhouse.
Soon enough he'd taken off his shirt, muscles clear underneath his slick skin as he finished with all of the number work. He checked his calculations, twice, only found a few mistakes, and then decided he was done with the marketing aspect so far. "Kuro, math's done," Yuri said, heading towards the house to drink a glass of water. Or a gallon.

Kuro yawned and let Yuri go inside first. He checked the math and fixed the mistakes. He was impressed with the other's work. The male was far better with numbers than his own accountant.
Then he went inside as well. Without makeing a sound he got a small towel and some gatorade out of the fridge for Yuri. He dropped the towel over the other's shoulders and put the gatorade on the counter near the other without a word. He felt awkward and was shocked that he was doing something nice for someone.
Then he went back to the fridge and got a small plate of sliced meet out of the fridge. He unwrapped it before walking back to the green houses. He went to the black fox den and set the plate on the ground.
Then he walked way. Slowly, one by one the foxes came out and ate the meat. Kuro left the green houses so he wouldn't disturb them.

Yuri had a cool glass of water pressed to his forehead by the time Kuro come in, his third glass. He'd already drank the other two, and was going to drink this one after a moment. But the Russian blinked bemusedly at the towel that appeared around his shoulders, and gatorade that also appeared because Kuro put it there. "Thank-you," the blond said, even if Kuro was silent and departing, and guzzled down all of the liquid in front of him. Man, he couldn't wait until Fall and Winter; then things would actually be at a comfortable temperature for him.
The meat the other grabbed made Yuri think of some nice fresh meat for himself, but decided to wait until it was dark, and cooler outside. Dieing of heatstroke wasn't exactly one of his goals. So, once done, he went upstairs to his room, looking for a thermostat. Once he found it, he set the machine working to cool his room down to a nice, brisk fifty degrees. Then he went to his bathroom to take a cold shower to lower his body temp and to get the sweat off. He didn't even bother with the hot water nob.

Kuro watched the foxes eat from the doorway to the greenhouses. When they were done they went back into their den. Kuro then fetched the dish and went to the kitchen. He washed it and put it away. The beast then went back to his laptop and moved it to the library so it wouldn't over heat. He finished his work there. It took him a few hours, but he did it.
Once done he turned the laptop off and closed it. Then he went back to the kitchen to get some food for himself. Kohaku was already working in one of the greenhouses and he had no idea where the wizard was. He sat at the table and ate.

Yuri finished his shower after just basking in the cold for a while, heavily enjoying it. Though, eventually he had to turn the icy water flow off and step out of the shower to towel himself off. It was nice to be clean and he quickly got dressed, blond hair still damp. He took some free time to fully inspect his room, looking around. His curiosity almost tempted him into looking through the neighboring rooms to his own as well, but he was able to control himself and just head downstairs, finding Kuro eating. "Work all done?" the Russian asked before digging through the fridge, pulling out a steak of some sort and then nosing through the other cabinets to find a frying pan. Yuri then burrowed through the pantry and such for more pots and pans along with cooking ingredients, as grabby as a hungry bear. Yuri was aiming to make some family-recipe stir-fry food, with chopped bits of meat along with several other things to eat. He wondered where the wizard and gardener were, though he supposed the gardener was gardening and the wizard was doing ... wizardly things.

Kuro glanced up from his food, a simple sandwich, when Yuri came in. He was starting to think this whole idea of getting a guy was stupid. And to top off the stupidity, they told him everything. He highly doubt that 'love' would form. Most likely, lust will. Why not? It wasn't like there were any girls around. The wizard was the most womanly thing around, but still had a p***s. Kuro almost laughed at the sudden image of the man in a dress that popped into his head. Not like the magic man's clothes were that far off from a dress... He couldn't help it. He snickered.
It was then that he became aware that Yuri was making something. He flicked his tongue out curiously. His eyes widened at the smell. It tasted good, but a little strange. Curiously, he got up and leaned over Yuri's shoulder, forgetting his appearance in his curiosity. "What are you...making?" he asked. He flicked his tongue out again.
Suddenly he looked startled and backed up quickly. "Sorry," he said. He adjusted his position so he could still watch, but was further way from Yuri. He was interested, but didn't want Yuri to get scared and burn himself.

Yuri was busy cooking, stirring and frying his meat and such, but still raised an eyebrow when he heard laughter. What was so funny? Sure, it was more of a snicker than anything else, but it still made the Russian curious. Yuri remained silent though, not feeling like asking. Private jokes were usually just that: private. Though the blond was a little surprised when he found the 'ruler' of the mansion peaking over his shoulder, tongue going in and out curiously. He didn't react to Kuro's sudden retreat though, besides chuckling and asking: "What, do I have something on my face? Come closer; this is just a little something my dad would often whip up when we were out hunting. It's warm, filling, and totally satisfying to eat. It's stir-fry, but he likes to call it 'everything fried.'" Yuri smiled as he spoke.
"Don't worry so much. I'm not a little girl, and I don't scare easily. Besides; you're way better looking than that grizzly that tried to tear my head off last hunting season. No joke." The Russian stirred his meal a little more, then turned off the heat to let it all cool a moment before looking at Yuri. "You could have some if you want. There's enough for both of us."

If Kuro could still blush, he probably woud have, but as it was his face set in a look that said 'I'm embarrused, but pretending not to be'. His experessions were actually quite easy to read. He was like an open book. At least, at moments like this. If he was unguard, no one would be able to tell what he was thinking. He hadn't realized though that he had dropped his guard.
He moved closer and watched curiously. The dish looked funny. "You are...odd," he said finally. He watched the other finish cooking. Then stared at Yuri in shock. He nodded. He was still hungry and he was curious about how it tasted. "Alright," he said. He went to the cabinet and got another plate for Yuri. That was nice right? He put the plate on the table across from his spot.

Yuri caught the reptile's look out of the corner of his eyes, but only gave a tiny smile. It was fun to catch those little things people didn't realize they were giving away ... Like that time he 'burrowed' that conveniently-placed sports car ... Good times, good times. Yuri did laugh when the other called him odd, but was respectfully smiling at the other's shock at his offer of food. The Russian dished out the food for both of them, then cleaned his dishes before sitting down to eat. Which he did ... like a starving dog. The blond really could pack the food away, but then again looking at his size that wasn't very surprising. When he'd finished, Yuri sat back with a sigh, patting his muscled stomach. "Just like Pa makes ..."
